When I read about it the first time it was revealed I was like "Great! A followup to one of my favorite games, and since BioWare did a god job on Mass Effect's sequel, this ought to be good!" but didn't think about it anymore until from a week from now.
Now I'm so excited I would sell my computer just to play it.
I'm like that too. I'll look forward to something, but I don't get too worked up until it's only a month off or so. Now that it's just a week away, I'm quiiiite excited.

I wouldn't call it "excited" - I am, however, looking forward to it.

The only other way I'd consider pre-ordering is if I could find the game for $50 pre-ordered. It's not that the game stinks. This is actually a pretty awesome game. I enjoyed the demo a lot. My will however is pretty shot to heck after finding out about the Signature Edition though. Day One DLC should be availabler to everyone who buys the game new, just like how ME2 did it. This is just plain underhanded in my view... We're not talking a month or two down the road, we're talking extra lore, extra character that they cut from the disk and are now demanding $7 for it on DAY ONE.
I'm sorry. I have this look of absolute disgust plastered on my face after typing that. I've been enjoying DA:O greatly, in fact, I bought it during the Christmas Steam sale, and DA2 hyped me up to finally get around and play it. The DLC thing just... ugh. I can't wrap my head around it, and it shot my hype straight to hell. I'm sorry folks. I don't mind Day One DLC, but not when they demand money for it, rather than giving it free to whoever buys a new copy of the game. Like I said... I'll consider it if they change their tune on the Day One DLC, or the price comes down somewhere. Otherwise... I'm not budging.

It's Bioware so I know that it's going to be great, but I doubt it will compare to Origins, the game that got me into RPGs

I'm definitely still very much looking forward to the game, but I've got other things to keep my mind off of it for at least a few more days.
