Besides ME2, I have never been this anxious to get my hands on a game. Its the first time I've preordered a game so early and paid off the whole thing before the game is even out.

Yes, I am incredibly exited for this game! :D

I'm excited. Talked to a gamestop manager today, said he'd try to get me the SE even though I missed the reserve date by a few days. It'll be like Christmas when I walk into the store to see if it worked.

When I read about it the first time it was revealed I was like "Great! A followup to one of my favorite games, and since BioWare did a god job on Mass Effect's sequel, this ought to be good!" but didn't think about it anymore until from a week from now.

Now I'm so excited I would sell my computer just to play it.

I'm like that too. I'll look forward to something, but I don't get too worked up until it's only a month off or so. Now that it's just a week away, I'm quiiiite excited.

I was very excited, but its starting to fade. I've been reading too much from the complainers in this forum.

I wouldn't call it "excited" - I am, however, looking forward to it.

Same here:whistle:

I am so psyched for this game its ridiculous. Every new screen shot I see, or new piece of information I hear, it just makes the wait feel longer. This week is going to go by slow.

My excitement is about average. I am sure I will have a good time playing DA2 though.

Still excited. At the time, my excitement level was about a 7.5. It went up as they started revealing the characters and specializations and it got to a 10. But then I played the demo and heard about length, and I'm still not happy with the game's direction. I'm back down to a 7 now. Still anticipating the game, but not expecting anything extraordinary.

Taken two days off work and some moments I'll be too busy to be excited. Slower times I'm sitting at my desk and I start tweaking out for DA II O_<

Honestly? No, no I'm not. The oversaturation of events and such is kind of killing my desire. It's 7 days from release, and we have this stupid facebook thing. Also, I only found out about the signature edition pre-order bonus after the fact it was done, now I'd have to pay $7 for Day One DLC. If I found out I'd get the Signature Edition DLC for free by pre-ordering, I'd go out right now and pre-order. No questions asked. However, as I've found it, I think I'll wait till next year for the game, after all the patches come out, and the inevitable Ultimate Edition comes out.

The only other way I'd consider pre-ordering is if I could find the game for $50 pre-ordered. It's not that the game stinks. This is actually a pretty awesome game. I enjoyed the demo a lot. My will however is pretty shot to heck after finding out about the Signature Edition though. Day One DLC should be availabler to everyone who buys the game new, just like how ME2 did it. This is just plain underhanded in my view... We're not talking a month or two down the road, we're talking extra lore, extra character that they cut from the disk and are now demanding $7 for it on DAY ONE.

I'm sorry. I have this look of absolute disgust plastered on my face after typing that. I've been enjoying DA:O greatly, in fact, I bought it during the Christmas Steam sale, and DA2 hyped me up to finally get around and play it. The DLC thing just... ugh. I can't wrap my head around it, and it shot my hype straight to hell. I'm sorry folks. I don't mind Day One DLC, but not when they demand money for it, rather than giving it free to whoever buys a new copy of the game. Like I said... I'll consider it if they change their tune on the Day One DLC, or the price comes down somewhere. Otherwise... I'm not budging.

Still excited? I must have rambled on about it for an hour tonight to my wife. She nodded, said "sounds great" or "cool"....basic acceptable responses but basically not understanding or even paying attention. But I kept going....lol. Yeah I am very excited...its hard for me to even enjoy one of the 65 games I have now...sigh

I was pumped before the demo, I had even made peace with my DW Warrior being eliminated to "increase variety". Now I'm a little bummed about the combat except for archery though (loss of tactical camera for mages/loss of backstab for rogues/retarded flippiness for everyone except S+S)

It's Bioware so I know that it's going to be great, but I doubt it will compare to Origins, the game that got me into RPGs

I'm even more excited after playing the demo.I'm unable to do that much in Origins now because of how much more I liked the combat in DAII.

@Black Xero  It was the opposite for me, the demo made BM/AW/BM in Awakening seem tactical to me.  Of course, I still pre-ordered it in time for the SE Posted Image

I'm excited for the story, hoping Gaider doesn't let me down. I'm thoroughly disappointed with everything else though.

I've actually been managing to keep my excitement level pretty far down, which is good for me. Last year when we were this close to ME2's release I was a wreck, I could barely sleep or anything.

I'm definitely still very much looking forward to the game, but I've got other things to keep my mind off of it for at least a few more days.
