Very excited, contrary to most people on the internet, I loved the demo, can't wait to get stuck into the full game.

I can't wait. I'll be "sick" during the release. :P

Well I'm not and I agree with Hosothemando. Not many considered Oblivion a good RPG until they modded it.

There's far more to The Elder Scrolls than mere role-playing. It's all about the freedom, the open world, the lack of boundaries. That and the ability to ride up the highest mountain in the game, kill your horse and see it tumble down the mountain.

It's just a bit of a downer that the dialogue options don't really give you anything to Roleplay about. They are just series of questions mostly. I wish they would do something about this in the next game. :)

But it's fun to explore!

I'm super excited about Dragon Age 2. Demo was great, too bad they didn't allow me to modify anything. :(

Meh.. I was excited before, but I guess I've just mellowed out about this thing. I still cant wait for it to come to my apartment, and to play it. But in the end its just another game.

Not excited, no. Too much Mass Effectification going on, and I don't believe this game will be a classic RPG like Baldur's Gate, PS:T, or even DA:O.

But I have already ordered it, and believe I will have good time playing it. It'll be an "ok" game, perhaps even a good one, for what it is.

I'm at around 50% of the excitement I had when the game was originally announced. Mind you, that's actually an improvement, it actually hit rock bottom at about 15% exactly four months ago.

I'm still very excited. I like the changes (not in love with them, but I like them). I've had zero disappointment.

Nah I'm actually suprised by how not exited I am. There is a copy a 10 minute drive away. I'm more exited about playing Space Marine than DA2.

Price has already dropped by £5 on my regular mail order place. I can see it being £20 within a month.

My expectations are low right now. But I still hope the game will surprise me.

+1

The demo and initial reviews kind of brought me back into negative nancy mode.  I'm looking forward to the game, just have pretty low expectations.

+ 2

What Addai said.

Also I'm actually surprised how indifferent I am toward the game. I mean there is a new story, new characters and lore and all I can think is "Meh. Will play it. Later. Eventually."

So yeah, I'm shrugging until my shoulders hurt from it, that is my level of excitement right now.

The only thing i find disappointing is the new look for qunari and elves. Its like ST's Klingons. They start off looking one way then end up looking another in the sequel...its kind of jarring as far as immersion goes.
That said I am SO TOTALLY STOKED for this game, after being very "Meh" when I first saw Bioware's Duncan on Crack Poster Boy.
Tuesday cannot possibly get here fast enough for me even if I had the ability to portal myself to 10am that morning and Gamestop!

I guess I would have to be excited in the first place to be still excited, right? However, I will say this. After the past week, and the overabundance of rabid gushing and fan enthusiasm leading to many to metagame DA2 without even realizing it, I suspect I may actually have more fun just playing the game and seeing what happens as opposed to those who have already mapped out a plan, adjusted their import saves to match said plan, and then will be disappointed when said plan cannot take place because the game does not allow it. I hope all who play it have fun. But excited, no. It's just another game.

Since im not excided i tryed the demo again and those over the top ability lack of costumization over the top animation the silly mass effect dialogue system.. naaah.. for me this is not a true sequel its something like a spin off or a big DLC but consider that game a true sequel it's really hard...

The texture now seems very very flat its a demo but see a scalemail with scales painted without any effect is annoyng and also the tarrain looks really flat... A complete lack of detail

Positive is the response of commands but those horrible anims and those over the top ability ruins all

For me this is not a game of 50 bucks but should be a low price game...

Don't offer so much...
And with the lack of a toolset show what corcerned a lot of people....

This is clearly a console port..

Honestly Rage. Get over yourself.

And yes, I am excited over the game.

You'll be disappointed then Rage. I plan to import only one of my saves, and what will be will be. That's how I play, making wahtever choices seem right to me at the time. If this means I miss stuff then so be it. I'll try something different next time. So for me, no i don't have it 'all mapped out and metagamed'.
I'm sorry so many people don't like it but *shrug* I do and I plan on enjoying it. I haven't let the opinion of others spoil what fun I take from DAO and I won't let that affect my DA2 enjoyment either.
All the Naysayers can have their say but in the end, it matters little to me what they think just as I am sure my opinion isn't worth a hill of beans to them.
