Could someone please do a step by step explanation as to how to activate the console and what commands seem to be working please?
I did try doing the same cheat as in Dragon Age Origins but for some reason I can't get my character to level up by using the addxp command?
Do you have to play offline or can you 'cheat' while being offline only ?

dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console_%28Dragon_Age_II%29 has a lot of the commands.
I may be mistaken but you need to either skip to the real blightlands, the part right after the character creator, or play until it in order to "unlock" XP gain.
