Sounds like you rushed the game and played on easy, my first run was 59 hours but i didn't do everything but did not rush, when i tried rushing it i did in 20 hours but rushing the game isn't even fun so why would you do it?

Best to enjoy your games, rushing makes the game so un-interesting.

Nah on Second Hardest, (Can't remember if its got a name, haven't played it in a while) Did all the companion stuff, all the DLC, I was puzzled myself when I found out that I had only played it for 17 hours when I finished. That was without mods aswell and I don't do any of that pause crap, though I may have to on my DA2 Nightmare playthrough.

I probably should sell my preordered Signatur Edition on Ebay and wait for the Ultimate Edition. Im definitley dissapointed. I really hope they wont cut ME3 in half and sell it for the same money.

It actually said 40 - 60 hours.

I've read the Hobbit more times than I can count and still love it. No so much with Lord of the Rings. Read it twice I think.

end of the day as long as you enjoy the game thats all that matters, could have been worse like the force unleashed 2, 6 hours on the hardest setting and your done

I am not flaming you and I am not saying you can't want a longer game.  I am also not saying this is not going to be as immersive.  Just trying to point out the trade offs that seem to have taken place and pointing out where they can improve the playability of the game and the experience of the gamer.  Some, I am not saying you, have taken to simply disliking all change simply because it is change and not trying to understand that while trying to improve our playing experience some of the things from the previous game had to changed.

I am also someone that has to OCD on sidequests a bit.  Only one I decided not to do was the love letters quest.

I never said I wanted a longer game. All I said was "It will be shorter". I never said this would make the game worse, I just said shorter. I don't dislike this before I have seen it in action. As for other things (paraphrasing, etc.) I do dislike, but it's in the past now. It seems that you want me to dislike it or something (as I never said I did). Please don't put words in my mouth...

40 hours. I am pleased myself, especially combined with cinematics...

DAO was around 100 hours for me though (not counting the time I had it running but did not play) So I guess this game will be around 60 for me, without counting the time I will have it runnig but will not play)

I have to finsih this game before April anyway

Most of DAO was travelling through the Deep Roads and the Fade. Those were the boring parts of the game!!

you can only be disappointed if you play the game. yet i like your attitude expect the worse and you will be pleasantly surprised
