I played through the demo on all three consoles and found with much surprise that I actualy prefered combat on the consoles over the PC (I played origins on PC and Xbox and found the PC version to be infinatly better).  However the graphics on my pc were much smoother and the load times were substantially shorter.  Does anybody know if I will be able to play the PC version with and Xbox 360 gamepad and interface?  it would be nice to get the best of both worlds

I haven't seen an official confirmation, but if DAO and the MEs are any indication, probably not.

Too bad. The game really does seem designed with a pad in mind. And unlike ME's shooter interface, DA's point-and-click method is not going to work well at all with a keyboard emulator.

Although probably not exactly what you want, I do enjoy playing a hybrid control scheme with a controller (Xbox 360) in my left hand and mouse in the right. A trackball mouse works well while playing from the couch.
