Wanted to make a darker version but DA2 doesn't have very dark skins... even mods make it blacky-grey rather than african black
So he just looks like a very tanned anglo

I try to make normal characters rather than picture perfect models, seems more realistic and it's easier for me.

Nyame, a mage who splits her time between massive AoE damage and healing. She tends to see the funny side of everything, and her joking can get tiresome, but she will support 'her kind' even if it kills her.



Caelle, a warrior who uses the templar style of fighting. She believes in upholding the law, and distrusts mages, even her own sister. Strange that she's developing a crush on Anders... if only he wasn't such a mages' boy!



And finally, Ronan, a rather belligerent archer. He's all about getting the job, the whole job, and nothing but the job done, whether or not it's 'right' to do so. Not sure yet where he'll fall in the mage/templar debate - probably whoever pays better!

Now that I am finally back from holiday ...
I could play some more on my fav Hawke...


 This is before he really started to help people in need and before he became the champion.... he looked like this...

He is a warrior with a greatsword and shield....

With time..... his mentality and his looks changed

Trying to help find the missing templar recruits....but he has already decided to side with the mages..because of his respect and love for his sister ....

ah! I'm right behind you on this one.. I always make one young "eye candy" character for my first playthrough, then I feel tired of watching 'perfection' and I like making older/normal characters kinda like Duncan or Loghain look like...  they somehow always come out more fun in the end haha

well.. I just won't go to extreme lengths as some other did though.... (still rofl on that one)

I made a somewhat boring Hawke, then one day while testing some stuff I moved all my character hair/face/eye/etc. mods to a different folder (to temporarily remove them ingame).

It ended up being a little more than temporary, since I like how my solo-Hawke turned out 

Her skin/lip/makeup tones ended up weird. In standard lighting, the skin just looks very pale:


In brighter light the skin gets shiny & her eyes look kind of demonic. Here's an example of her very grey portrait icon & a weird angle:


Then in darker indoor lighting (this was while talking to Aveline) she looks...normal-ish.

Oh I wish I could, I spent much more effort into making my own Hawke than I did with the warden. With the warden pretty much just tossed a beard onto the default guy.

Indeed it is, also used the LOTC extra tones mods, and pineappletree's, including the makeup intensifier. Also Bidelles, but I don't think that's what gave me the base complexion.
