Castia Hawke, mage, wants to help everyone that she can. She's my cannon Hawke and she fell for Anders, sparing him in the end and running off with him.

Sinshen Hawke, mage, more likely to crack a joke then to take anything seriously. Fenris broke her heart.

Vincent "Vin" Hawke, warrior, agressive as hell. He's in a rivalmance with Anders.

One of my newer playthroughs. Bertha "Bert" Hawke, warrior, aggressive but she does have a snarky side. She isn't involved with anyone as yet. I fussed with her face a lot more, trying to get something masculine but will a bit feminine. I tried to widen and flatten her nose, to make it look like it's been broken more then once.

Alleria. Sarcastic/aggressive DW shadow/assassin. Not one for power or politics but very strong in her beliefs, as yet my only Hawke to gain the Arishok's respect. Became increasingly aggressive the more she was dragged into politics. Friend-manced Fenris dispite different politics (mages).

Mattias. sarcastic mage (not sure what kind yet). Not very far with this character yet but the idea is he's basically how Anders was in Awakening. Plan is for him to romance Anders but that's about all I've decided so far.

I do try and make my characters look how I want them to act, but I'm completely stumped on how my last character should look. Plan is to make a diplomatic blood mage but I have no idea where to begin on their appearance..

It suited that character to not end up with her anyway, but I definitely agree, I'd have one extra character if that were the case.
i'd have 4 - friend and rivalmance of both sexes

(probably just end up being a re-colouring of the first one -like the second one- anyway.)

Yes, as in that Garrett.

Much like his namesake, this character has a tendency to gravitate toward cynicism, self-interest, and the odd sarcastic quip- when his snark isn't approaching terminal velocity, he's very direct, and doesn't put up with anyone's crap.
He's kind of grown on me as I've played him, I must admit.

Also: my mage, Ravenna, made a cute face. Such was its power that it exerted a gravitational pull on my 'Print Screen' button.

Ok. This picture, right here, makes me want to play a male for the first time in just about...oh, ever. I have a hard time getting into an opposite genderered character (when I'm given a choice) but, damn. The first 2 Thief games rank in my top five fave games ever, and I really want more Garrett, even if I have to fake it and it's only in my head. Only problems I foresee in going about playing him Thief-Garrett style is.... Garrett doesn't play well with others, he won't have Stephen Russell's voice, and I don't know if there are any good scar mods for his eye. But, eh, who cares, I'm gonna use my Garrett fangirlishness to build from!
What armor is that, please? It's gorgeous!

That is the 'Vow of Pride' armor, and alas, yes- as it is a mod, it's PC-only.
It is quite something, and it makes me writhe with envy for those with any modding talent wahtsoever. I want to make something that looks supercalifragillisticool, too. ;3;
I wore that armor straight into Act 3, when I wasn't beating people up. I liked it that much.

Aw, I do believe you have made me blush. ^^
I'm glad me screenshot-clicky-finger has convinced you; it's quite flattering.
(Also, I feel you, mah sistah. Even years later, Thief is still my favorite series of all time. OF ALL TIME.)
Ahem. Sorry about that. Was channeling memes for a second there.

This was a problem for me, as well (also what he should look like, since you hardly ever get a good look at Garrett from under that hood). But surprisingly, if you squint and look sideways, Sarcastic!Hawke makes a pretty good proxy. He's certainly more personable than Garrett, but eh, whatchagonnado when confronted by a team-based game?
Needless to say, I mostly stuck with the 'sarcastic' and 'charming' responses, grabbing 'direct' prompts (not 'aggressive', unless the other options would not fit) when I could find them. Mostly when accepting quests from people.
"Shut up and fork over my payment" became pretty routine after a while. As did "I don't give a crap, do what you want" responses toward companions. >.>
As for his voice... pretend! Pretend like you mean it, wummun!
Lawd knows I did.
Re: scar mods, I would personally recommend these two.
What bugged me the most in character creation was that you can't actually give your character two seperate eye colors, but one takes what one can get.
...
Hood goes on, hood goes off. Hood goes on, hood goes off. :3

SO. AWESOME.
I really, really love this picture. It's perfect.
Your original screenshots were quite the thing, too. I've just shut down Darkloader after completing a Thief 2 fan mission, and it's all your fault. Yes indeed, it's all your fault, so.... thank you! (Yes, I still play T2 via FMs even after all these years. May have to jump through hoops to get it to work on current PCs, but it's worth it to me.)
And now I'm off to make my own Garrett, who will not only be my first male character, but also my first archer. This should be grand!

I will point out that I bought originally on PS3 so couldn't use mods and also sold it like 3-4 weeks after purchase because didn't like it so even if owned it on PC instead I still wouldn't have used mods because the game itself wasn't good enough for me imho. I doubt there is a mod to allow me to turn my Hawke into Beaker Hawke so wouldn't of been interested unless could.

Well I would post pics of mine but Photobucket is being emo with Error: Invalid file type whenever I try to upload screenshots.
Are you uploading them straight from your Screenshots folder? For some reason, the Dragon Age screen capture system doesn't save them as real JPGs ... if you open them in a image program (Microsoft Paint should work) & save them as a JPG then Photobucket should accept them.
