I use an aweful lot of mods actually...but that's probadly because of how many good ones there are...the only off the top of my head...are
a. chargen_revamp - this allows you to use the default Hawke( both male n female hairstyles).
b. dragon knight armour mod - which is basically a stand alone set where you get armour that is like the warden armour but in black in red for all classes
c. vow of pride - which are robes that everyone likes to outfit there Hawke's in
d. soulfrost n darksouls weaponpacks - adds new cool looking sword to the game.
e. leap of fate sets : weapons n armor - armor is based on flemeth's armor...
d. morozik's arsenal pack: which adds something like 70+ new weapons to the game.

The other mods I use are gameplay changing mods...so I won't spoil those...just check out the nexus and you will find a TON of awesome new gear...

I can't forget my Lady Hawke also wears rak72's robes of the pirate empress, exhilarant's hero's armor( black n red), and a mod which changes the rough leather armour to cassandra's seeker armour...LOL.

The armor is indeed Athenril's. I did a couple of different recolors of it back in a day. Nowdays there are far more impressive mods available, but those retextures are still around on BSN and DA nexus.

As for the haircut... *sigh* I think it also has something to do with the way common face structures are in DA II. I just remade an origins character with this same haircut, and there isn't a trace of a certain chantry mother in her. Oh, well!

only thing is, i wish she was wearing boots. i just don't see this hawke i'm running right now being able to break free from the ferelden tradition of wearing ugly boots all the time. and barefoot...dunno, i find that some strange elven thing.

but it IS cool armor... (Goes off to ponder this a while)

also, is it just me, or is the lighting in this game APALLING? i mean, seriously. i know peeps complained about the graphics, but i seriously think it's that hawke is constantly standing in shadow. make getting a good screenshot nigh impossible. so sad. in me2, i don't think my shep ever was in bad lighting, except on tuchanka. here, it's like all of kirkwall is anti-good-lighting

Since, I'm now playing both games on the pc...like most here, I have to agree with you about the lighting for this game for the most part...it does make it hard to take decent screenshots...I just try  make due with what we have and improve it by adjusting the brightness of the game a bit...that seems to work me.

Well thank you for the help. I got it working - great instructions, by the way. Really easy to follow.

And yeah, there are moments where the lighting is okay, but even playing around with the gamma doesn't help. it's that people are constantly backlit. make my head want to explode. anyhow, got a few decent shots of the armor.

here's my attempt at making my 'canon' hawke. she's going to be a blonde, but i'm stil not 100% happy with the results. may have to tweak a little more. my canon shep (avatar pic) took over 50 tries to get right. i'm really picky about my toons animating well.

She's cute... my biggest problem now...atleast as far as character creation goes is getting Morrigan's hairstyle into the game...and yeah not enough blonde Hawke's...my next Ladyhawke will most likely be blonde...since I;m getting the auburn ones( both male n female outa the way now).

she's SO close to working. but, sigh, just something is off. oddly enough, this hawke of mine (the viscountess):



is not really 'pretty,' but she animates SO well. i wish i could channel her charisma onto this new hawke.

i actually DISLIKE the morrigan hair. i just think 'morrigan' every time i see it. but there are precious few styles that allow hawke to show her ears and are off the back of her neck. i got that custom style for my warden from this project:

I REALLY wish i could get those cuts onto my hawke. anyone have any idea?

i'm trying to think if i can use the save editor, but i'm not sure where i would put the relevant file? in the override folder and then reference the name in the save game file? guess i can try when i get back to my game.

i tried to load that project into dragon age 2 CC in its entireity and it died a horrible, fiery death. i had just a red hair outline floating in the air. it works lovely in DA:O though.

I've actually been looking for a good armour mod for my Templar, having used the Dragon Knight and Warden stuff for previous characters i didn't want to reuse them. I hadn't found this one before. It's absolutely perfect.

Thank you for showing it off. Also love your Hawke.
