Getting there, LadyS...don't you have those robes of fate thing? There's just something still too bright in her outfitting to be a badass blood mage, though I'm loving the tattoos and the hair is just right. Rocking that staff there too, that's pretty badass looking!

Coming to the end of Kit's run...I'm doing Legacy just before finishing a couple quests in Act 3, then doing the big bang finale. It's been so much fun, (I think the most fun I've had playing through a game). She'll be siding mages (this has been my most sympathetic mage run ever) though she dislikes Anders, she still wants to see mages free.

Up to Janeka encounter now, bout to enter and do that annoying light puzzle thing.

You mean the leap of fate armor set mod?

I hate that puzzle as well and you HAVE to do it to complete the warden armor set you get through legacy...

yea leap of fate, that's it. Just screams "Apostate/blood mage". esp since she has her thumb on the GFF editor, she can make anything look like it.

I hate the light puzzle but at least I didn't have to go online to find the answer to it, my thinking is very linear so I was able to figure that out without help. Those tile things in MotA stumped me, though. Finally did them yesterday on Kit for the first time and had to use Utube to figure it out.

edit: had to restart all of his DA:0 playthroughs...basically complete uninstall and reinstall...so he could put the proper mods he wanted into the game without it crashing on him since I decided I didn't need some of the armor ones I had downloaded( forgot how many badass items they are in the game to begin with...).

wow, i've done install/reinstall of DOA like 3-4 times and have gotten a different PC since i got the game so...I guess one additional install since I basically moved my game to this one. So far *knock on wood* no mods I've done have broken my game irrevocably.

I can't use the gff editor for diddly and Leap of Fate never showed up at my home, nor did I get it after doing Flemeth's quest. Maybe I have something conflicting it. *I have a ton of Sunnie's mods and Dream of Antiva also never spawned as it should have. I think something in those mods must be conflicting but as I enjoy the things I get with them, I'm not dropping it to get the other stuff.

What I meant by GFF is she can make things look like that armor set (Like say, change the texture on the Champion armor to match it). I'd love to change the Champion armor for the rogue to look like the Black Fox armor I wore in Act 2. It's my favorite. But, alas, I'm a computer moron.

this armor, with the gloves, was my fave. So much so, I wore it even after I could have upgraded.

Finally came to the end of Kit's run. She lied, cheated, stole and killed to keep the mages as free as she could. In the end, she couldn't save most of them, but she knew she wasn't walking out of there without her baby sister.



I had so much fun this time, I got all choked up at the end knowing it was over!  I wonder what I will play next...

oh crap, give me a choice...She looks fantastic in both! Leap of Fate seems a bit softer/more feminine, but the bottom armor looks like she's all bloody business! She's rocking both outfits, LadyS.

New guy on the block. Gawain Hawke, Aggressive Warrior.
LadyDamodred came up with the name (I suck at it) and I looked it up. It's Welsh for "White Hawk of battle" I sh*t you not! Neither of us knew JUST how perfect it would be for him (I just knew Gawain was one of King Arthur's knights).
He's built on the Gamlen/Carver morph I'm using so there is a strong family resemblence there.


Another playthrough where I will lose Carver.  Dang Bioware...I wish I could keep both (and choose which becomes a GW and which joins the Circle/Chantry).

about which armor for Zhaneele... i say both...considering I wear a quite a few armors on Maria, myself including both set of armors your talking about. 


@sylvanaerie... I understand what your talking about you would need to get with a modder on that sort of thing...unlike DA:O here you have things a dye editor and 'the winter's forge' because of the toolset... bioware has yet to release such a device for DA 2...and we all have our issues in modding... mine is that I can't seem to get any of the bew hairstyle mods for chargen to work...and that has to dow ith the compiler failing for me all the time...

Thanks for the opinions everyone. I think she'll probably wear Leap of Fate until just before the Deep Roads, then change.

sylvan, Gawain is handsome ! Fantastic name! Good fit. My last Male warrior wore that armor, it's nice. Although I always take the 'crumb catcher' off. It bothers me, don't know why.

raz, always good to see your pic's! My chargenmorph compiler NEVER works! If you want me to, I can tell you how to do it manually, it's not hard!

Tren, anything that has food AND good looking men I'm all up for!

Chargen is easy.  Just look at the chargen that comes with the mod.  It should have a bunch of entries under hair (that will be missing from your current chargen for the game).  Just copy/paste those and put them under the same category in your game chargen.  I don't use a compiler, as I say I'm not computer savvy and have to do it manually.

yea, LadyS, I don't like that stupid plate thing under his chin either but *shrug* i can't change that so I make do.  I use a lot of other armors early on and don't get into the Champion thing till way late in the game.

Gawain is a great name!  He is extremely handsome...looks Iike a true warrior; love it!

Gawain doesn't know it but he's in over his head already...the Kitten will be taming the Hawke. He needs someone sweet and gentle to temper his...well...prickly side...

here ya go!  She decided to let down her hair for awhile.  Her moms death kinda shook her up so she made some outward changes and got a little more  sharp around the edges personality wise.  In act three I tried to really let that come out.  Sigh...almost done....i'll prolly post one more set of Medea and then on to the next char!

To quote Anders in Awakenings, " ah, I didn't do it'. What I did was use a mod called Fabled Weapons Collection, it's just a replacer mod for some in-game weapons. And for those of us with Sunnie's mod, we can buy them right away. Find them here:
