sylvan, you did a good job on Severus, I know the sliders make it hard sometimes to get things the way you want them to! I became a Rickman fan when I saw him in 'Robin Hood'. Cancel Christmas!

awww...don't you just love the end? I get all choked up when I finally reach it on a run I've really enjoyed. I felt I came to know your Zhan very well and felt a little choked up reading the end of her story. Here's hoping your next one will be just as gripping!

Well, never got this scene before. I delayed going to deal with Hadriana--on purpose--Gwen's kind of a procrastinator and there's no profit in sticking her neck out for the elven slave. Fenris wasn't too happy about it and didn't mince words. Rivaled Fenris is freaking HAWT!! Lily tried to calm him, Gwen loves the conflict!



I think she likes watching that little vein in his temple throb. Also, she's not impressed with Hadriana's goons.



Rivaled companions tickle me immensely.  I wonder how hard it would be to rival everyone but Aveline and Varric...

Bolded 1: In the case of Maria... you will be waiting awhile...since I haven't finished canon( and siding with the templars as is my canon choice) future Viscount Raziel's pplaythrough yet...still waiting to see if we get anymore dlc or hopefully an expansion to the game... Not to mention the fact that I despise the FAIL that is Act 3...

Bolded 2:Not that hard actually if you know what your doing...hell, I would say it is pretty easy to rival up Aveline as well...the big pull with them is the Act 2 sidequest dealing with the fade...and it's aftermath with the various companions...depending on how you deal with them(in my case aggressively)... you can gains something like 5-10 or more rival/friendship points however you deal with theior conflicts...

yea act 2 is when I top off the rest of the group's approvals (one way or the other). Fenris was fully rivaled before I hit the deep roads, and Aveline and Varric only needed a few points to max them (talking to them as soon as Act 2 opens up fixed that). Merrill is who I focus on in the Fade, netting close to 40 points. Doing the books and destroying them and giving her the carved halla complete it, I never have to be nasty to her except when I tell her 'you're a dead woman' when confronting the demon.
Anders will get his soon too.

sylvan, I agree with you on all points! I had immense fun playing Zhaneele, and was happy/sad when it was over. One of the things I love about this thread is that most of us don't just post a pic, and leave. We get to see each others Hawke's progress through the game. It's great! I'm glad your enjoying your rivalmance!

Pretty Hawke. I love mages too! I've never seen this family before, are they are nexus too? And Bethany looks pretty in blue.
Fenris appears to be bugged in my game. I did the flirts...but he walks away after doing his *this hate is killin' me* speech. Maybe Gwen broke him beyond repair?

Syl ; Fenris was very difficult to love with, because he must be the first and the last of your romance! I've tried to mance with other then break up before fenris then can't mance Fenris!

No I didn't flirt with anyone else. I did all the flirt options with Fenris and when he goes to leave I get no "Flirt--stay with me" option. He just leavves. Nor is he dressed in his romanced outfit.

Does prolonging going after Hadriana break it?  Anyone know?

Going back to right before I triggered the hunter attack (First one).  It isn't TOO far back in the game.  Will let ya'll know if it's still bugged for me.  I hope not.  I'm really enjoying Gwen, but if it is, I can switch gears on her and have her go after Issa or Merrill easily enough.  And i am hoping he's not permanently borked or i will have to reinstall or something...
I'm just really into Fenris right now

Sometimes he comes back later, you have to leave the house wait until night and come back in he is there. I never got the questioning believe after killing the master. got the items but never saw the quest and I was already finishing Orsino's quest's. Not sure what happened.. he never bugged before only merril and the mirror.

Nope it's definitely broken.  No romance armor, no romance dialogue and no way to fix it.  Kind of blew my immersion now...  Thinking the entire save file might be corrupted in some way or I may have missed some crucial thing I needed.  Regardless, Gwen is 'tainted' now.  Time to start anew...

I was never able to enable the console.  I'm just going to redo the playthrough.  Hopefully it's a fluke and he is only slightly bugged.  I would hate to have to remove my mods and do a complete reinstall

Well, my new guy (sort of), Raphael.  I'd deleted my old Raph so here's my new one (almost looks the same).  If Fenris ignores him, then I won't feel so badly.  It was just kind of crushing to happen on Gwendolyn.  He's an Archer Rogue like Gwen was, so I will try it out on him.  



Guys are easier to make for me, at least I don't have to choose from among 50 different makeup styles.

sylvan: Raphael is a cute one. I'm sorry about the Fenris problem - I had it once (with Kaylee), but since I'm not such a huge fan of him, it wasn't that bad. In the next playthrough, the romance worked normally (with the same mods and my Hawke flirted shamelessly with her companions) - I don't know, what was the problem in the Kaylee playthrough.

lady: your Hawke family is looking great.

I just tried out the mod, where you can give your companions different armours and had to start again for that mod to work.  Therefor I have a new mage, named Arya (I'm becoming a huge Game of thrones fan at the moment and therefore my Hawke should be called after my favorite female character of that show) - pics will follow in a while
And I need to try out the pirates - at least for Isabella

Thanks, Fyli. I seem to recall I had the issue crop up before but I hadn't done the QB quest and once I did that, I went back to the house and Fenris showed up. This time I had already done all the talking I could do with him before encountering the hunters and I had no further options to try to fix it.

The pirates mod is awesome.  Issa looks great in it.  So do some of the Hawke's I've seen posted up here.  Going to keep it just for Issy in my games though, I really enjoy the Black Fox's Jerkin.

sylvan, it's easy to mess up the Fenris romance! You always need to do Questioning Beliefs before the other quest. Sadly enough, I had to use a guide because I kept messing it up at first.
