I still can't get over how atrociously fail Leandra and Bethany look in some of those shots.
I have to stick to a Hawke appearance that will keep their default appearances.

Since there are no arrows to click, getting an exact copy will be more of a challenge. You might have to resort to print screen comparisons.

I imagine this means that I can pick any of the first few presets, edit them however I want, and the Hawke family will still look like their default appearance?

Yes, though I think their skin color might mimic yours.

Fine by me. If that's indeed how it works, I will be SO GLAD.

The Hawke I made, if I can get the image to show up right (sorry if it doesn't work at first, never posted an image on this board before).

Family skin color seems to be linked to the preset you select, not to your Hawke's coloration:

My retarded hawke posted above is a white guy which I made black. Family followed suit. Only the face though.

Or listing slider positions for each option (e.g. Jaw width = 2nd option), although that will be time consuming for the creators of each character.

Well, once upon a time I opened over a dozen threads for people showing off their Custom Shepard's from Mass Effect 1. Been a while since then, and now that the demo has been modded, show us your Hawke's!
Heres the thread for how to mod the demo:

And here's my first Hawke attempt.
Everyone post your custom Hawke's!

Maybe it's just me, then, or just that one preset. Coloration in the demo is really complicatedly hinky.

I thought the width was one of the sections that didn't have a specific section assigned on the bar. So you could fiddle with it as much as you want, like the height and spacing bars.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The character creation part of the demo was never intended to be used in the first place. Such glaring flaws are bound to be fixed already.

Oh, I don't doubt it. Locating the failure states is hilarious, though.

Can you tell us the slider positions for this character? Or perhaps there is a code like in ME2?
