The Fenris rivalmance is so fun. He gets so exasperated with Hawke, and OMG I love this line when you do his "After Alone" talk and he asks for forgiveness for his freak out in Act 2. Sarcastic Hawke is a nice counterpoint with Mr GrumpyMcEmopants.

Haha, I kill Carver and Bethany off in the DR more often than I let them live. I'm not that good at story-telling so I use their death to force a personality change. Trying to tell of a gradual one would kill my brain.
I think he does the same when he becomes a Templar. I actually prefer that because he makes his own choice to become one. I'm sure he'll always remember when you handed him over to the Gray Wardens. He wouldn't be one without you.

I can't for the life of me romance Fenris. I had to force a romance (friend) using the console. But only because I found out that you can't romance Sebastian if you've flirted with anyone else at least once. Ruined all of my plans.

You've just reminded me to go and play Legacy.
I always take Anders along. It's so funny when he freaks out.

Here's what I have in my head for Nyla:
She grew up rather sheltered hiding as a mage. That's why she's so naive. She's lost her home,her Sister, been treated rudely in Kirkwall. She was betrayed by Bartrand, and in her mind, by her brother. ( He joined the Templars ) Now, the first man she falls for loves her and leaves her. She's now in a rebellious stage. She started hanging out with Isabela, hoping the older woman's self-confidence and worldly wise ways will ' rub off ' on her.

oooh I love how you're roleplaying Nyla! And loving the new look! I can easily see her turning to Isabela who is older, more worldly for help dealing with things. Couldn't you just KICK Fenris and Carver when they pull that sh*t? Thanks to Alex, I'm toying with a Templar Carver run my next mage, myself. Your Orana morph is so pretty, very innocent and sweet looking which matches her personality. And I love that scene with Marethari too! Like I said upthread, I think she's the most beautiful creature in DA2, so graceful and elegant.

Raphael has reached the end of his story. I actually had time to knock off Justice, Best Served Cold and then finish up the game. First, an action shot. I managed to pause this one JUST as Bethany smacked her staff on the ground making a nice flashy effect. With Merrydeath lit up like a Roman candle behind her.


Now that's one HUGE chunk of Lyrium...Raphael is already wondering, just how much he could get for it, he'd just have to figure out a way to smuggle it out of the Gallows!


And thus, Kirkwall became a safe place for kittens and virgins once more...that's if anyone can find any left...

A couple shots of my new girl Lucy(fer), Aggressive Warrior (Amazon). Not sure how her story is going to go, but based her off Xena Warrior Princess, with some anger issues but able to use her head and wit and diplomacy (sometimes) when it's called for.

Grr Argh? ROFL That's what the mutant zombie says at the end of Buffy! I wonder if that's a hidden nugget? I like that outfit on Issa, it's what she's wearing in my games too. And that convo with Anders/Fenris/Isabela is even funnier if you've slept with Isabela too! The pirate pwns them both!

After a lot of stops and starts where I had the attack of the OCD beast, and remade her 5 times, Lucy has finally made it to Kirkwall.  She'll be working for Athenril as the smuggler doesn't deal in slaves or kill people for cash. 

My backstory for Lucy is:  She grew up pretty much idolizing her father, and while she didn't have his gift of magic, she took to the blade quickly.  She contemplated joining the templars (to be an 'inside man' who could warn the family if they were discovered.  I'll be going with Templar specialization), but her father's death put the family in a desperate situation.  With the savings fast depleted, she began to take whatever jobs she could to feed them, doing some pretty questionable things as a mercenary for hire.
The call for troops to Ostagar was her way out of that life, she felt if she distinguished herself serving King Cailan, she would be able to make a name for herself and a better life for her family.
The reality turned out much different than her expectations.  Now, on the run again, and Carver dead as well, Lucy is just trying to look out for her mother and Bethany.
At least she got to Kirkwall, and she doesn't have to kill for a living.

No, they don't... they took out those type of combos and came up with the cross class combos of DA 2...in that warriors can stagger enemies, mages can make them brittle, and rogues can dsisorient leading to an attack by one of the other classes to deal mega damage to the enemy. It is said to be how you would be able to play nightmare effiently...atleast that's what Bioware was hoping for...

Even though she either, was captured by Templars or gave herself to the Circle. It kind of irritates me that she still acts cold to you when you see her before the Qunari invasion. Not my Hawke's fault you're there. <_<

Made a new (F!Mage) Hawke, then remembered that I had another male rogue someone where in my saves.

Alexandrine *cough cough* Hawke. Sarcastic/Diplomatic. I'm trying to make her like me as much as possible. It requires me to reject, like, every quest though. I'm lazy as hell.

Hello again everybody! I am seeing a lot of amazing characters since I last posted!

I don't have any new Hawke's to show you, but I saw some awesome Warden's and thought I'd show off Lyon Cousland



I usually romance Morrigan for my canon playthroughs, but I just coudln't resist Leliana during this play through.

And Sebastian doesn't whine. He just heard his entire family was slaughtered like cattle. I think he's entitled to be just a wee bit upset. Too bad that's the ONLY time I find him interesting (except when flirting with him--then he gets so flustered he brings back the same warm fuzzies I get when my warden flirts with Alistair). Damn Bioware and their badass intro...made me look forward too much to the Starkhaven Prince.

Meh, I can't help but compare him to my Couslands. If the Blight where no threat i'm Puh-retty sure he/she would have taken care of Howe themselves. Without posting a bounty on the chantry-board and throwing some fit. 
Haven't tried. I've only recruited him once, and only because I paid money for him and felt it a waste if I didn't. I like Anders too much to do it everytime.

I only did that once because i had a pact with one of my BSN buddies that I would have my Cousland marry her IF he made a HNF and had her marry Alistair.  Usually my boy ends up with Leliana.

After doing side quest's, Nyla went to help her friends. In my head, Merrill gave her new armor that she had altered to fit her. She's calming down a bit. Helping her friends has made her feel useful.

sylvan: I'm not a huge Xena-fan, but your warrior princess is gorgeous.

lady: Iike the new look of your Hawke - and yay for the Anders kissing scene. I was determined to go for Fenris with Lyanna this one time, but I fear, she will end up with Anders like most of my Hawkes. I tried the Athendril armour once on one of my Hawkes too - it looks great.

Alex: you have great Hawkes. I like the mage, you made after yourself a lot

raz: I really have to try out KOTOR, it looks great. And a lot of my friends are constantly telling me about it. I want to be a smuggler (some kind of female Han Solo)

I just recruitetd Sebastian with Lyanna - and the bastard wasn't in my group more than 5 minutes when he was starting to convince Merril to to the chant of light. Luckily, Merril has more sens in that than Fenris and gave him a really cool answer (that the CoL is nice, but has a lot of plot holes - best line ever). Even if Anders wasn't one of my favorite companions, I still would let him live at the end, just to ****** Sebastian off. It's strange - the first playthrough, I kind of liked Seb, even though I'm not a big Chantry fan, but now, he's going on my nerves. He still has a lot of funny lines, like the answers to the flirting or the 'Even I know that' and some hilarious dialogues with other companions (Andrastes face on his crotch :-)), so I keep him around sometimes, but not so often.

And yes, I want to strangle Sister Petrice too

sylvan, I am so glad I'm not the only one 'not in the know' about Bianca! Yes, it comes out during close combat. That's pretty cool.

Fylimar, TY! I'm not a big fan of Chantry boy either. He does have some funny banter, he just gets on my nerves!

Hopefully I'll get time to play later today, going to do Prime Suspect next, then Legacy.
