 Just saw this board so I thought I should post one of my looks here. I'm glad to see the character creation a little more diverse but WHERE is my platinum blonde color!!  Gah! I need that hair color. BTW My demo kinda crashed before I could take more pictures... 







I used to like Bethany much more than Carver and I have to play a mage so it bums me out that she has to die. Thank you for her unattractive version here that made me lose all desire for her completely.

Actually as a fan of women with short hair, I have completely the opposite opinion. I'm glad that now when I play as a mage or rogue, it's possible that there will be a Bethany I fancy. Of course the black skin issue shows that the family resemblance is far from finished in this version, so it may be that we see something very different in the final game...

Its not about copying someone else's Hawke its more about someone just got better eye for some aspects like "cheeks, nose or eye position" so its easier to take their concept change what I want and keep what they got perfect

Maybe its me but my Lady Hawke always looks slightly different outside creator, in real world lightning and showing emotions

Yeah, actually I was just thinking the same about the female Hawkes. Most of my attempts to deviate from the default actually ended up similar enough to her that I wondered why I'd just spent 15 minutes monkeying with settings.

Mass Effect had the same problem where most Shepards were look-a-likes of each other.

Don't get me wrong. I love women with short hair but something about this version of Bethany seems weird. Her face proportion is just not right here. but then that's just my opinion again.

Yeah you're right that the nose is a bit odd, but it didn't bother me personally.

Everyone has such awesome Hawkes I thought I would make something similar to the default Hawke but I ended up going for a softer looking face. I haven't perfected her yet but I've got a week to work on her lol

Yeah the nose is a bit odd, but I didn't find it too off-putting. Anyway as I said, it's quite possible that these aren't the final "looks" for the game.

Wow... they really improved char customization. thumbs up for Bioware. I mean my chars looks exactly now in game how I make them in char creator. No more strange cheekbones etc... Here is few of mine sorry for a little bad quality xD playing it on my non gaming laptop but looks okay anyway

My first Hawke, hopefully a Blood Mage one day. I hope in the final version there is a code like in Mass Effect, it would be easier than just taking caps from the different slides.

I suspect most people avoid making dark hawkes atm because it messes up your family. It's rather hilarious.
