I was prepared to go with the default Hawkes, but you guys are starting to make me second guess myself. There are some great looking faces in here. I might have to have a go at this when I get the game. Or just waste an hour fiddling with the creator before deciding I hate my creation and going with the default face anyway. It's tradition.

I agree with you--I used Default Shep because no other face I could create looked right.  And while I mostly like my DAO character, in some angles he looks like an alien.  But I've seen several in this thread that inspired me to create my own in this game.

they very well might the demo version is several months old. mods have said in this thread that this isn't the final version of character creator.

I think it has been told that black hair colour matches to any type of skin. If you created a dark skinned Hawke with blonde hair that looks good - it doesn't mean it would look good on your family...

I'm pretty sure this is the issue. If you think about it too: your mother is grey and your father dead, so for rp purposes you can imagine one of them had your hair colour and the other black.

I really enjoyed playing with CC and I love their face expressions (third picture ) during fights... Much better than emotionless Wardens!

Anyway, this is what I want my Hawke to look like (I usually tend to make my main hero look like me, hehe...) and can't wait for the final game!

I've been playing a lot but I only just figured out how to fix my resolution so instead of immensely fat people I get normally propotioned ones.  So Roland is the only one I have played at this setting so I can properly judge his facial features.

Will have fun with this on release(would likely darken the chin stubble a tiny bit since it's hard to see.)

You can often do this by switching to BBcode and back again.  Though I agree, just having a normal preview button would be better...
