Two-handed rogue, all the way. Second best DPS class.

Warrior, and I never played that in the original game to completion. I liked the damage more than the Rogue.

If you want to crit single targets to death then go Rogue. If you want to decimate groups of enemies at a time but with less single target damage then go warrior.

I too often question which class to play. The simplest way for me to decide would be to ask how I would fight if I was in the same situation as Hawke is in. Do I want to wear plate armor and face the enemy head on? Or would I favor subterfuge and wear light armor for mobility? I always answer with the former so I always play warrior.

Does the warrior even have dual wielding options? In the demo I noticed there is no talent tree specific for dual weapons. Or is there and I missed it?

Considering warriors can't dualwield anymore, if that is what you want, your only possible class is a rogue.

If you see  the 2 handed tree and the dual wielding you ll see that the 2 handed takes advantage of brittle and the dual wielding takes advantage of staggered enemys, maybe you can choose because of that,
or maybe just the one that looks cooler ;)

rogue two-wielded. i like their style of play and i feel that crit hitting can dispose of enemies faster than hitting a bunch of enemies with AOE reg melee. however, CCC makes it so that any class can do major damage. so, it's really subjective...at least to me.

To the best of my knowledge, warriors can't dual wield in this version. So no choice :P

If you want high damage Melee AoE take 2h warrior, if you want lighting fast DPS then be a DW rogue.

What are you choosing between exactly, OP? A warrior wielding a greatsword vs a rogue wielding two daggers, right?

It's hard to decide which seeing as the warrior hits high amounts of damage and the rogue hits really fast but not as strong which eventually evens it out

Both warriors and rogues must remember to protect themselves against the dreaded thread necromancy.
