Don't blame the game if the concept of tactics escapes you, I played the demo as a mage and did not have to go kitting like a madwoman to kill the ogre. I also don't understand why you say the healer tree is useless and the healer mage has been removed, I find it rather similar to the old one and rather useful and I'm sure you can make a healer build easily, but that is, of course, a matter of opinion.

Good on you for saving your money though, if you don't like it, you don't like it. We just didn't need to hear about it yet again, I suppose.

I had to play a lot of DA:O on Casual, partly 'cause the console controls make party management a pain in the neck and partly because I screwed up my rogue build, and I still coasted through the DA2 demo with a mage without using tactics at all. I just stood at a distance and spammed magic while my ginger tank took a beating for me. Well that's kind of tactics, but it's more just cowardice...

 I have also cancelled my pre-order after playing the disappointing demo.  I may still buy it at some time in the future if the more intelligent reviews are favourable.
