Does a modifier exist that allows me to specify how steep terrain needs to be before it's inaccessible? The software is deciding the physics of it somewhere, but I can't see it in any of the options.

Is it a value that can be tweaked? Specifically I'm looking for the current value to be more aggressive in determining hwat can't be wealked on. The default setting allows for almost sheer cliff-faces to be walkable. I'd like to increase the value so that less terrain is deemed unwalkable by default.

Any help appreciated.

Mountain icons to the left of the Export Area drop-down. Hmm...good idea to add a tutorial for that.

Ok, tried it, but it doesn't seem to affect the steepness at which terrain becomes inaccessible.

Hmm.

What that tool does is it allows you to create walls to stop the player. So if you have a ridge, you just place a series of walls to block off the ridge. I'll have a screen shot in a little bit.

Hmm that is the tool i use right now... There is quiet alot of walls... But then again if you build the map in a good way you might not need that many walls. Anyway no idea about a setting to change the blocked area

That is a screen shot of my terrain using the Terrain Collision Tool which is circled in red.  Basicily you click on the Build Terrain Collision button, and left-click to place down 'walls' that block off pathfinding.  Right-clicking will end the current wall chain, and right-clicking on an existing wall segment will delete it.  I have not been able to figure out how to connect a new wall segment to an existing one.  What I do right now is make sure the new and old segments overlap so I don't end up with any holes.
