Why there isn't a full Italian version of DA2 but there's one of ME2?

There are German and French version but not an Italian one. It is unfair! DA2 is as cool as ME2.

The only way to truely appreciate this game is to play the English version, anyway... Seems like they cut costs on the localization budgets or something... Anyway from the demo, the French voices are for the most part subpar to their English counterparts.

Too bad. I suspect from a total sales standpoint ME is the bigger game so they probably have a bigger budget. Your english seem good enough to handle the US version

Thank you for the informations...It's a good practice listening it in english the only problem is that I can't watch the game with attention when I couldn't understand something.

Is there a subtitle toggle?  I thought there was one for DA:O.  That way if you can't understand it spoken, it might be easier to read it, too.

Mass Effect 2 has a lot less dialogue I think, that might be a reason.

Turn on the subtitles. I find it easier to follow especially when a character mumbles something.

Hmm that is a shame. In any case, you will improve your English (it is already good) ^_^ ; also, you enable subtitles for everything right? This, I think, is better than trying to understand by just listening and will let you enjoy the game more.

Indeed, i can understand english, but just to be sure that i experience all of it, i always turn on the subtitels.

With movies, i do not need it, but with games, i find it prio, since sometimes i might miss a word or two.

Yes I know about the subtitles but I set them in english too because sometimes translation doesn't "fits" with speaking at all.

There is a german version, yes. But translation sucks. Cheap german voice actors and sort of puppet theatre style translation isn't really something I can enjoy, so I figured it is worth learning english enough to understand it as well as german. The worst thing which can happen to me is that I accidently buy/order the german version of a game.

They didn't do a Romanian version because of their sales aren't good enough in Romany but in Italy they sell a lot!

This is so funny but I think you're right a bad translation is worse than no translation.

Because the Italians are a dirty people, obviously.

It's probably because English, German, and French are the working languages of the European Union, of which Italy is a member.

You should know Italy is a founder member and about working languages Italy won a legal proceeding.
