Well, Shepard's story is almost at its end. There's really only so much a person can do. However, I'd love to play as someone in Csec or any other organization within the ME universe. The universe and the lore they've created for Shepard's story really is too good to waste and Shepard cannot be the only person out there with a good story to follow.Llama11 wrote...

bioware have invested to much money, time and effort into MASS EFFECT to let in end at mass effect 3 what bioware have done is create a franchise ! mass effect 1-3 is just part of that . bioware have clearly made mass effect there main title and belive me there is as much chance MASS EFFECT going under the radar as there is SOLID SNAKE been a REAPER

ME4 will not be about Shepard... but I'm sure whoever it is about, you can make him/her look exactly like your current Shepard... so the only diff will be voice, and background, but there's not much background currently

I don't mind getting to know the older characters better, though I'd prefer it if we get to see more new stuff after Shepard's story wraps up, IF we really get a Mass Effect follow-up. We don't have to rely on key characters always making a return when there's potential to tell a story that feels 90% fresh in the Mass Effect universe.
Playing a party member for most or the entire duration of a game would limit roleplaying possibilities or conflict with the character's personality.

Would love it if they made a ME2 multi-player like tf2 or battlefront. I believe a class based multiplayer shooter would go well for this franchise seeing that there are so many different fighting styles in the ME series. Heck, why not make it a game focused around mercenary bands since they were so intent on making them the primary enemies (and yes they were the PRIMARY enemies since you saw them more than the collectors). You could create mercenary bands based on clan groups, and the physics engine would support biotics and tech stuff.

It's likely they'll continue it, since it's so damn successful. I can only hope they keep it in-house, and not pass it off to some other company. Like Obsidian, for instance.

It is only milking if the quality drops with each new release .. but if they keep the quality of the products or even increase it .. it ISN'T milking ... it is investing in a succsseful franchise and giving the fans more of what they love and want ... when will people ever learn this !!!

It is milking whether its good or not, if they keep putting out 'new' stuff despite an ending. I did not say I would not welcome milking that was of epic quality.
