Helping garrus deal with sidonis.

"Betrayal Repaid, Sidonis!"

Seeing Garrus blow that piece of trash away made me smile. That was other emotional moment I was forgetting about.

That would be the ending of Overlord and than nothing for a long time

Also:
LotSB, after defeating Vasir on the roof of the azure when Liara finally shows some emotion again after a long time and the scene on the Normandy after finishing the SB.
Talis trial.

Another dialogue that touched me (I know it's a little stupid but ti was soooo well delivered):
Kal'Reager: "Good luck ma'am."
Tali: "Call me Tali."
Cal'Reager: "I'm Working on that ma'am."

End of Miranda's loyalty mission. Amazing work by Yvonne Strahovski there.

Lair of the Shadow Broker, the final talk with Liara in your quarters.

Even though I didn't romance her, after all we'd been through, Shepard finally has a real friend and ally.  Someone who knows what's at stake and actually remembers what happened in ME 1.  Someone who actually cares about Shepard, and not what Shepard can do for them.

"So how are you doing Shepard?  I mean really?  Not what you tell your squad to keep morale up."

"Honestly, I'm tired.  Tired of dealing with Cerberus.  Tired of the Council ignoring me.  Tired of my closest friends not believing me"

Whoever wrote that dialogue really had me(and my Shepard) pegged.

So many. The end of Overlord. The conversation with Erinya. Mordin talking to his nephew. Garrus not shooting Sidonis. All the romances. Meeting Wrex again. The quarian mother who died on the Alarei. The batarian plague victim thanking you if you stick around at the end of Mordin's RM. Talking to Liara. Consoling the grieving mother in Samara's LM. The dead krogan female in Mordin's LM.

I can name even more.

Garrbear's romance scene, for me, takes the PRIIIIIZE.

Running in to Wrex again is gloriously brotastic, and Bioware knows how to pull at the heart strings with the use of the Vigil theme.

I don't know if these count as "touching," but there were a couple moments when I felt like I'd been slapped in the face. The first was during Morinth and Samara's epic biotic fight scene. Morinth's one line, "I can't stop being your daughter, Mother," for some reason stings like hell. Maybe it's because I'm so close to my own mom that I seriously can't comprehend how much those two must be hurting. The second was during Garrus' loyalty mission, during my renegade(ish) run--I asked him if he was sure he wanted to go through with killing Sidonis, and he basically spat at me about how I was the one who told him that seeking revenge was justice. I suddenly felt responsible for his incredibly destructive behavior, and it actually hurt a little.

Finding out Archangel was Garrus. I literally mirrored Shepard's reactiong when he said: "GARRUS!"

Meeting Wrex again was great too. Possinly the happiest moment in the entire game. (And yet people still say choices didn't matter from ME1. You sure about that?)

Tali's loyalty mission was also very sad.

Strangely all ME1 characters, heh go figure.

I forgot about Mordin's loyalty mission. The dialogue at the krogan female's body is a large part of why I adore Mordin. "Pointless, pointless waste of life." "Rest young mother, find your gods." So well done, and instantly deepens Mordin's character.

Tali's loyalty mission, especially finding her father. Also the chats with Samara about her daughters I found quite touching.

Shepards speeches during the SM and also Sheps and Liara's conversation at the end of LotSB.

during Tali's mission when you hear the mothers last words and the last minutes of overlord. Also if we count the books then death of the Quarians during Ascension (people dying to protect strangers who aren't even their species is a huge tear jerker for me)

There is no THE most touching moment for me, but here are some honorable mentions -- in no particular order:

- "Shepard! My Friend!"
- Hugging Tali
- Thane crying during his romance encounter
- LOTSB aftermath

Grunt's death. I thought he was such a beast, he could handle leading the diversion team. I wanted to give him his big chance to be a true Krogan...but I was wrong. He was still just a kid. I never should have sent him in. I knew Garrus could handle it...why did I send Grunt?

I lost four good men and women that day (Tali, Thane, Grunt, and Miranda)...but to this day (nearly a year after the fact), I still remember Grunt's dying words.

"Good fight, Shepard. Good fight."
