One letdown about this game for me though is that it takes place only in Kirkwall, I personally like traveling from city to city.

This was originally offered as a Sig Ed EXCLUSIVE offer. BW and EA have generously offered it to you. If you don't like that don't buy it. Me? I get it for free as I preordered the Sig Ed.NickV wrote...
Cheers to EA and Bioware for cutting out content from the original game and re-sell it to us consumers on day one... This SHOULD ship with every goddamn DA2 copy IMO! Reminds me a little of the bold in-game ad for the Wardens Keep DLC in DAO which also left an unpleasant aftertaste.

I wish I had rushed into getting the Signature Edition but I only found out about it 2 days before the offer closed due to coming late to Origins...ah well, I am still going to buy Sebastian.
I too regret not buying the SE. Serves me well, next time i'm not paying attention to my bf.

Similar things have happened to me in the past, one such point was when i gave an Assassins Creed Brotherhood code to friend of mine due to suddenly having two copys of the code.
Some thing similar might happen to you.

True it was a sig ed exclusive offer and good for you to purchase it before EA pulled the plug on both tangible and steam sales of said edition, but let me ask you this: Was it really such a generous offer if EA charged you an additional 5 to 10 bucks for this great sig ed and all you get is the Exiled Prince DLC worth around 6 bucks? Well I'd say BW and EA only gave you an option to pre-order DAII bundled with Exiled Prince making it look as a "generous" offer to its loyal consumer fanbase. Okay, you can argue that of course the sig ed also has some exclusive ingame items and the soundtrack; but hey, what the hell!Razor_Zeng wrote...

Please don't get me wrong... I personally think that yes, DLC is a great idea. It evolves the old add-on concept and enables consumers to purchase only the content they want. However, IMO Bioware and EA (and EA has a credo for being greedy) have made the mistake of announcing Exiled Prince too early. Not long ago, when additional content came out a few months after the
release of a game ppl at least had the impression that developers had just
kept on improving the game after the main goods had been finished.
Revealing that complete parts of the game including quests, characters and abilities
are being purposely made in order NOT to include them in the original release just seems to me like a “**** you, we sell you an incomplete game, and oh! Look what won't be in it if you don't hand us some extra cash!” to us customers... Sorry for ranting like that, but I'm just a little pissed off.<_<

Making you pre-order so far in advance was a cheap move as well, especially with all the reservations fans had about the direction the game was taking. Most shops simply charged an extra £5 for the SE in the UK so people aren't really getting this for free anyway

I really don't want to have to wait until Tuesday morning if I can help it, but otherwise I can deal.

Yeah it lame how pc players have to suffer thanks to the 360. If I would have know I could not really play Dragon Age 2 at midnight. I would have not bothered going out in the freezing snow storm to pick up my copy. Wish BW would unlock everything. They know about the midnight release. This really get my goat. Here people wonder why I hate xbox and microsoft. It because of this crap. DLC. Really DLC never excited tell xbox came out and why there not been an epic game made in the last 10 year. Do not get me wrong there been short good games. Like DAO. While it was shot it did have replay vaule. Unlike ME.

When is the sweet Prince available for downloading?
It is available now, just downloaded it, if you already own it should be in your registered game content or if you need to buy it, go to the top of this webpage to where the games drop down menu is and go to Dragon Age 2 and then Offical DLC and hit buy The Exiled Prince. Hope that helps anyone having problems getting The Exiled Prince.
