Agreed with those above, people with real arachnophobia are reading this thread, that kind of image can freak them out, if you want to put it in put it in as a link with a warning.

Even though I am an arachnophobe in real life, video game spiders don't so much freak me out... however when I played Everquest the Dark Elf Spider hybrids in Kunark freaked me the Hell out, cause EQ regular spiders they really did a bad job IMO n their design... however the darkelf spiders they did a VERY good job on their legs and their animation was so realistic.. I pretty much avoided the zones they were in except the few times I had to sneak through there and it was just extreme stress having to do so...

This spider looks like he might stress me again LOL

Dude, I'm not even afraid of spiders and that still made me shiver the first time I saw it. lol

I was creeping away from the screen, terrified just waiting for it to be an ANIMATED gif and he wasgoing to JUMP at me or something.... only thing keeping me from getting farther from the screen was my chair bumped into my bed... had to reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaach to grab the mouse and close the pic...   ROFL

Dammit I hate spiders. At least its not as big as the one thats gonna be in Skyrim. But still I hate giant spiders ever since my dad told me that story about how he was bitten by a radioactive spider when he was in collage on a field trip

Holy-- I just saw something on page 10 that pretty much guarantees I won't get to sleep soundly tonight. The original poster edited the image out, but someone else had quoted it. That's just... yuck.

I gathered the courage to click the Prince's link, and that was... well, I closed it quickly but it wasn't nearly as bad as the other one.

I need to stop visiting this thread.

Yes, if that happens again, I think I'll just ask for the thread to be locked. I don't want insensitive people posting stuff like that without a link warning arachnaphobes.

I'm reading this page eating my breakfast. XD. Regardless, Spiders don't freak me out too badly. Even when my husband (the king of trivia and useless knowledge) popped out with the gem that in your life (from birth to death) you're never more than 8 inches from a spider. We had black widows in Upstate NY infesting our garage. I always had a 'leave me alone, I'll leave you alone' policy with them. As long as they don't jump out at me, they're safe to go on eating any household pests that they like. Also, as long as they're not near my children, they're safe ^^;

I assume it's likely Witcher 2 might have one as well, I remember there being a quite a large spider you had to kill in the first Witcher
