Maybe if you could relate to the spiders, you'd get over your phobia?

Aaaww. That is the cutest spider I've ever seen. Just adorable.
Ick no! It looks like a man-eating alien. This is the cutest spider I've ever seen. He even has a "happy face".

Its those little ones that are hiding in your shoes and boots, or crawling into your bed looking for a warm place to sleep.
Anyways, don't worry too much about those really big ones in the video game.

the little ones are the worst kind, they can get in places you can't see them.
if it's big at least i know where it is so i can smash to tiny itzy bitzy pieces
I agree if I know where it is I feel quite a bit better about them. I just hate when they pull thier ninja vanishing acts so that when you turn around their gone. You look around for a bit forget about them, but when you sit at your desk they are there sitting on your keyboard and looking right at you.

*shivers a little bit, but...* Hey, you're right. That's not so bad. I can even imagine that it's just a little plushie and not a real spider. You know, I feel like you helped my phobia a little bit. Now I don't think of all spiders as scary anymore. *extra huggles for Tiff*Tamyn wrote...

Don't play Thief: the Dark Project. Not ever. You don't ever want to hear their chitters of confusion when they hear you, nor their shrieks of venomous delight when they spot you, nor their screams of rage and hatred when they die.panamakira wrote...

Luckily I don't really mind spiders all that much. Still, I'm glad I live in Belgium where spiders are small and harmless, and not in Australia where most of them have healthbars.
Heh, Thedas is prolly nearly as bad as Australia when it comes to spiders.
Hah, that brings back memories. Mmmmm Thief.Wynne wrote...

It was mostly the Hammer Haunts that scared me though.

Guess I'd prolly be scared of spiders too if I came from a country that has black widows and brown recluses. *shudder*
Prolly also a good thing for arachnophobes that DA2 doesn't have top notch, super realistic graphics. Just imagine being able to see your own reflection in each one of the 8 eyes of one of those big spiders once you get to fighting distance, and icky stuff oozing from its mouthparts.
