Sorry for all you arachnophobes. It isn't the big hairy obvious spiders that will get you. Most of them aren't very poisonous.

Its those little ones that are hiding in your shoes and boots, or crawling into your bed looking for a warm place to sleep.

Anyways, don't worry too much about those really big ones in the video game.

I agree if I know where it is I feel quite a bit better about them. I just hate when they pull thier ninja vanishing acts so that when you turn around their gone. You look around for a bit forget about them, but when you sit at your desk they are there sitting on your keyboard and looking right at you.

Oh god no....I barely glanced at it. Everytime I played in the Deep Roads I would forget to turn the volume down because everytime "the spiders are coming" sound came up I would jump. Ugh......I haaaaate spiders......

Hahaha, I dont like spiders either. The Spider parts always got me to jump when they snuck up on you lol.

Crikey, that's one big spider! Not quite as big as that one boss spider in Unreal 2's Hell level though.

Luckily I don't really mind spiders all that much. Still, I'm glad I live in Belgium where spiders are small and harmless, and not in Australia where most of them have healthbars.

Heh, Thedas is prolly nearly as bad as Australia when it comes to spiders.

Hey, you live in Belgium? Awesome! Me too! I'm American but I'm going to school here.  *lol* All my friends laugh at me so hard for my fear of spiders for that very reason, that they're not dangerous over here; I'm like, "If you only knew..."

I like big spiders, it's the tiny ones I hate. My only gripe with them in DA:O was the creepy noise they made when they walked/ran while I had headphones on. God, that was...awkward. I felt the urge to look over my shoulder every time.

Flying insects creep me out more than spiders. If the game ever had giant swarming insects with stingers I might just..... *shudder*..... ugh. I'm creeping myself out.

An American studying in Belgium who knows and likes Thief *and* plays Bioware games?? There should be more of you!
Guess I'd prolly be scared of spiders too if I came from a country that has black widows and brown recluses. *shudder*

Prolly also a good thing for arachnophobes that DA2 doesn't have top notch, super realistic graphics. Just imagine being able to see your own reflection in each one of the 8 eyes of one of those big spiders once you get to fighting distance, and icky stuff oozing from its mouthparts.

See, I'm not an arachnophobe (fear of)... but I'm an arachnophobe (pc term for hate of). That is to say I aggressively attack and crush black widows when I spot them within a hundred feet of my front door.
