i was bitten by a small spider on my nose when i was 3 or 4 after the thing crawled up my body (scaring the sh** out of me to wake up to that), and have had an irrational fear of small spiders, but i love big ones. i would like a pet tarantula, so i'm fine w/the video game spiders

Not a fan of creepy crawlies but I can still tolerate giant spiders in-game. Just glad they did not include giant..roaches.

They don't bother me a huge amount. Although my brother told me a story about his friend and cockroaches that still makes me shudder. But I can never tell if that kid is just trying to disturb me.

That's a disturbing thought.

I've always been suspicious of air vents, or any small place where things can hide.

Egads. I remember freaking out when I saw the big spiders in DA:O (especially when they'd drop from the ceiling. I still jump every time.) but those things..... GAH!

In the Mage Origins of the first one, every time those spiders dropped down I screamed a little. God I hate spiders.

I hope they got the movemeants down right.... was playing rift before and got to an area thats bassicaly all giant spiders (broodmothers are bigger than that) but the way they moved... spot on even gave me a slight shiver and im not scared of spiders...

but yeah aprently hate of spiders is all in the way the move rather than the way they look...

The two things that freaked me out about spiders in the deep roads were the "Let's drop down in from the ceiling and scare the bejeezus out of that warden" and the fact that near the end, they started running away, forcing me to chase after them. You know how freaked out I was, expecting them to turn a corner and find them all waiting for me, like in Star Wars IV with Han Solo and the storm troopers.

Its giant spider arse reminds me of mushrooms mmmm. Spiders don't exactly look pretty but they can be cute. I stomped on this tiny spider once and it shrieked so freaking loud it pierced my soul lol. I also had a spider crawl in my ear one night and it got lost apparently and died. Next day its dead mushed up junk was in my ear all day till I remembered what happened last night and cleaned my ear out. I don't know how people can be scared of spiders when they have the intelligence of bots found in video games.
