Frankly, if the biggest problem with DA2 is recycled environments I'll be a happy player. I forgave ME for reusing the same three areas in almost every side quest, and I'll forgive DA2, too.

The rest of the game was so good, I was able to forgive it also. Plus, if I hate the side quests, I can just skip the ones I don't like in subsequent playthroughs.

It's my personal favorite. Despite a glowing review, I'm quite sure many people will continue to cite everything negative. I've actually seen a few people outright lie about the contents of the reviews.

Well, hopefully mods will be able to fix the level recycling problem.

I wish Dragon Age team would have taken the lesson the Mass Effect team learned with ME1. If it's anywhere near as bad as it was there... that will be immensely disappointing.

Yes, it is that difficulty.

However, dalish use both irish and welsh accents in DA II.

Note to self: avoid the caves.
Other than that, the review sounds good. I got used to recycled areas in DAO and ME, so it doesn't irk me that much. I'm loving how important your companions and decisions sound, and I'm looking forward to the clashes between my party members!

If they're comparing it to Mass Effect and using terms like "spider cave 17", it sounds much worse than in Origins.

I don't know why people panic, this is basically every review I read. I read the review of ME 2, and thought, focus on companions over story, too many human enemies, too much time on mini games, and thought meh. Then when I played it, just like every bioware game I play, it was awesome.

I take these all with a grain of salt, if they don't butcher it at like a 70% or so, I don't worry.

Thanks for posting. Gotta say that if they marked it down for the English/American/Irish divide thing mentioned in the OP that is pretty laughable, working as intended folks! And I love it for it, the dedication to keeping Ferelden's British and Elves Irish/Welsh in particular.

Actually, one of the Devs said that they use both Welsh and Irish accents for the Elves, due to the very limited Welsh VA talent pool.

Dam, this review makes me all excited again.
Oh and I'm pretty sure Fenris has just lost a few fangirls now, oooh (the minor spoiler in OP). Personally I may like him more with that knowledge, he has controversial ideas but not without reasons, plus you can probably convince him to moderate himself if you are a do-gooder mage yourself.

Exactly. I think it could be great fun to be a Fem rogue that romances Anders and slaughters the mages, followed by playing as a Fem mage that romances Fenris and slaughters the Templars. Those would be totally screwed up romances. *evil laugh*

I haven't really been following the conversation that lead up to this, but couldn't you just imagine that the mage-hating guy is conflicted, and loves/lusts after your Fawke but hates her "job"? Like a hippy who's in love with the CEO of a major company?
