I am borrowing an X-box and ME1 from a friend of mine who's on holiday. Seeing as I have access to the game and the console for a limited amount of time, I can't afford to delay and explore too much. At least not until I've gotten to the final quest in the main questline and can spend some time exploring and doing side missions then, if I have the time.

So far I've gotten all my party members and have finished Feros. Shepard is now level 21. So my question is: At what level should I continue the main questline? Are there any lower level limit required or recommended for each part of the main quest?

Enemies in ME level up according to your characters level so provided you have some decent equipment you can continue with the main story anytime you wish. Hope this helps you and enjoy the game.

Thanks, that's good to know! I've already played through ME3 and am reading the novels, so I'm familiar with the world and gameplay. Awesome series.
