Was anyone else REALLY disappointed?  I ended up returning it.

60$ for a 4 hour story and a new way to play online?  Firefight is fun and all but it didn't begin to justify the ridiculous price tag put on this game.

It was a nice touch that they added in the Halo 3 multiplayer disk, but how did that help any of us who already had Halo 3?  I felt exploited by the game creators, maybe I completely missed a secret super-awesome feature that caused everyone else to love this game, but I felt as though they used the Halo name to do minimal work on a new game and sell a second-rate piece of junk as a full game.

What do you think?  Agree?  Disagree?

I agree that Halo:Odst was'nt a complete game, it was never meant to be, but it was fun and it was the only way for Halo 3 fans to get the extra mythic maps, which dissapointed aswell. If you think you were exploited for $60, it costs $110 at major game stores in Australia, just letting you know how ripped off & foolish i felt.

Having never paid for any of the Halo 3 multiplayer maps I thought it was a pretty good deal. The story, despite being short, is pretty fun and much better paced than Halo 3 IMO. Firefight is freakishly addicting if you have 3 other people to play it with. Not to mention, the 3 vidmasters on it are needed if you want Recon. Overall I liked the game very much and am holding on to it for the Reach beta.

I suppose it would be REALLY nice if you didn't have regular Halo 3 to have all that multiplayer... in that regard I can see it being worth it.

I don't know if I'm spoiled by long games but to me I feel ripped off if the game lasts for less than 8 hours after the first play through .. Mirrors Edge, Ghostbusters, Batman... all very fun but extremely short games with less replayability because the second time through you know exactly how to do everything. I'm sure there are people who like to replay to see how fast they can get through the game but that has never appealed to me.

The only reason to touch ODST is for the VAs. And to grief people. That never gets old.
