Many people here have brought that up, and many other people here, myself included, agree with you.Shatterhand1701 wrote...
As much as I'd love to see Tali's face, there's a part of me that still wouldn't mind if we never see it...and here's why I feel that way.
All that we've come to love about her came from a Tali that had to wear a mask for her own safety, and she risked that safety to remove it only for the man she loved, Commander Shepard (if you played out the romance option for her, which I did...and I assume most people here did). To my way of thinking, that is an incredibly meaningful gesture that I feel only Shepard should be honored with.
Sure, we're all deeply curious, and I think our adoration of Tali has convinced us what we'd see would be nothing short of beautiful. But at the same time, I feel as if the aftermath of the revelation would be akin to how a child feels after Christmas is over. There's a build-up to this wonderful moment, and once it's gone, there's a feeling of regret because that magical moment is over now. The wonder is behind us rather than still in our hearts and minds. Also, I'm concerned that some of us would be disappointed by the revelation if she's not exactly what we've built up in our minds, and that would taint the experience.
Maybe I'm just speaking for myself. If so, so be it.

If you hate Tali so much, do yourself a favor and NEVER go to this forum: http://social.biowar...egory/128/indexPwener2313 wrote...
The thing is... *we're* Shepard. Plot-hole! I never wanna see her face. I'll see her like I see Ken and the other chick, as another person on the ship.

You can really tell her emotions by her voice, or atleast I can.killersinc wrote...
I say we see the quarian race's faces. I mean seriously it would help with an emotional attachment to the entire race. Right now I see them as faceless and emotionless. Even though Tali shows her emotions elsewhere.

Perhaps BioWare should give you a choice if you want to see what she looks like or not. That way no one is disappointed.
yes this would solve everything. bioware giving us the option would to see her face or not would be awesome for everyone.

It all started with DOOM Guy (or Master Chief if you choose to believe that). Faceless characters leave you room to use your own imagination and make them as sexy or cool looking as you want.kyles3 wrote...
Other races not knowing what they look like is a defining characteristic of the quarian people. And besides, Tali proves that you can have a character go over big with fans without even showing his or her face. Why complicate things?

I really hope Tali's face isn't anywhere remotely close to the one in OP.

Good point. However, the Christmas analogy is a bit iffy. I mean, yeah, the mystery of what's under the wrappings is great, but if all you found was a cheap toy (or socks), then yeah, the magic will wear off. But have we not ever received a present so grand, or sentimental, or special, that we cherished it long after the holiday season? The wonder is gone, but a truly great gift is still in your possesion. Is that not enough? IDK about you, but I have had such presents. You have to remember, BioWare doesn't disappoint, or give us cheap fanservices (OK, that last part was debatable. But still...).
More over, I haven't really built up and particular image of Tali's real face, so anything that doesn't look like a Xenomorph or Predator will make me happy. I think it's safe to say that won't happen, since she's clearly human-ish (you can see a silhouette of her face during her loyalty mission).
Finally, imagining what Tali looks like is fun, but actually knowing what she looks like is even better. At least, that's what I think.
Afterthought: I just hope BioWare takes their goddamn time with Tali's face, and ME3 in general.
After-afterthought: I like Tali based on her personallity and backstory anyway. Her face (and dem hipz) are just the cherry on top.
After-after-afterthought (for the hell of it): I leik turtelz.

Amen to this. The longer they take, and more depth they go into, the happier I'll be.
Regardless, I've got complete the faith that Bioware will take both sides into account and handle it accordingly.

What makes you think they'll make Tali look like how you, or me, or Rainyday, or anyone else thinks she'll look like?
Maybe they'll look at the fan art!
In reality, if they do show her face it wont look exactly how anyone thinks, but it might have similar features

"Intercom: Invite Tali up..... WITHOUT HER MASK"
But seriously it should be an option to see her if you pursue her as an LI. I think they have special rooms on the migrant fleet where they can "link suits" or something. Not sure how it works exactly.

Can't we just let BioWare pleasently surprise us?. They always do. It's like thier religion to be awesome.
They worship at The Temple of Epicosity.
They are the Monks of Blow-Your Socks-Off.
