DAO didn't have them, and now DA2 doesn't have them aswell. I don't know why, it really irks me alot. It's the first thing I noticed in the new Exiled Prince screenshots on the Dragon Age 2 official webpage.

This. Why waste time getting bowstrings right when you can spend the time making something else awesome?

Bowstrings are so overrated anyway. All bows in Thedas are magic - simple

I honestly never noticed this in origins-witch hunt on my Bow pc. I only first noticed it on the forum. I don't really think it's something too major.

If you want bowstrings go buy a real bow. Why do you need your virtual character to have strings that you can barely see anyways.

I find it funny reading replies by some fans defending Bioware's decision at all cost without having the slightest clue as to how much resources it would actually take to make bowstrings.

Even runescape.. a flashbased browser MMO has bow strings, there really is no excuse for it no matter what reason you come up with.
