I'll list some actors that no one has mentioned:

Humphrey Bogart, he could be suave and debonair or thuggish and menacing. He always shone as a romantic lead.

Gregory Peck, growing up I wanted Atticus Finch to be my father. Gregory Peck was an actor who could hold interest reading a phone book. When he actually had wonderful lines, he just made them better.

Rosalind Russell, you never doubt she was a woman, but you also never doubt she gave as well as she got. She was another who made everything better.

Meryl Streep, she becomes the role. She's one of the few actors who can make you believe she is beautiful or homely, tall or short, intelligent or foolish, all as the role requires.

Ingrid Bergman, is eye candy and so much more. She was not only jaw droppingly beautiful but she could act. Her problem, if it is a problem, is that she's so gorgeous that people forget that.

Tom Hanks is one of the most talented actors I know of! Philadelphia and Forrest Gump are two of my favourite movies. He most definitely is one of my favourite actors.

Also Saving Private Ryan and The Green Mile, two of the best movies ever as far as I'm concerned.
