heyas;
okay, i have more hairstyles installed, and i just got the chargenmorphcfg xml compiler thingy to make all the eyes and hairs and colours mods work together. and the hairstyles works fine when i'm making a pc. but the hair models are not showing up on my npcs.
so i have the toolset, i have my add-in mod, i make a morph of my npc, i load on the hair. i stick that morph on the npc, save, paint down in the area. now in the toolset/area, of course the hair shows up with that crazy blue/yellow ugly texturelessness on it.
when i got into the game to see the lovely hair, i have a bunch of npcs with faces, but no hair models, no scalps, just... empty backs of their heads.
any ideas why this isnt working on my npcs? and yeah, i just jumped into that module with my pc that has an extra hairstyle from that mod.
More Hairstyles not showing on NPCS

The blue/yellow thing is usually caused by lack of a normal map.

heyas;
well, the blue/yellow thing isn't bothering me. the nothing showing up in the game is bothering me
someone just sent me some test genfl_zevran.mor files with more hairstyles on. i threw them where i had my mor files for my npcs (same override), and the hair showed up properly on zevran in a custom mod.
i have no idea what that may mean. :/ oh... i should change one of my mor files into a zevran mor override and see if that works...
okay, i did that and the hair model did not show up in game. apparently then, something is wrong with how i created/saved those mor files. ...?

Hrmm...how did you create them? There really should be only one way.

basically using whuffie's old way...
new: morph. pick yer model, blah blah blah.
okay, in the hair model slot, load a new model. mine are in the dragon age GAME override (not the documents override). so i copied and pasted the name from explorer into the toolset to get it to load the hair model by name.
save mor. um, threw them into my DOCUMENTS override.
is it possible i loaded the other file instead of the msh, or vice versa? i'm going to have to try to do it again from scratch is all.

okay, this worked:
i moved the mor files from DOCUMENTS core override to my modules add-in override.
why they work there and not in the main, i can't explain.
