I would have put this in my previous post but I didn't think about until after. I am wondering how to get a creature to be friendly when you talk to it but after the conversation is over make the creature an enemy. Also i was wondering how to get an enemy to play dead until you get close to it. I saw the code that is supposed to do it on the wiki but i don't know where to put it.

I usually call UT_CombatStart() to make a neutral enemy attack. I haven't used the play dead feature, sorry.

In conversation, the generic plot gen00pt_generic_actions can be used for many common actions, including "owner goes hostile" and "team goes hostile".
I haven't tested "playing possum". I think you apply EffectFeignDeath to the creature on first entry to the area, then remove it when the player enters a trigger around it (both of which require scripting).

You can do it without any scripting but the two usual approaches don't really give you a very satisfactory result. You might find the approach detailed in Sunjammer's Rough Guide To Ambushes is closer what it sounds like you are looking for.chiyonosake wrote...
