As a player, I regret not being more adventurous and trying different paths, especially with the romances. I really wanted to do a playthrough ending up with Zevran, but Alistair's puppy eyes got me every time--I even installed Equal Love so that my male Surana could hook up with him.

My Tabris, who's going to be my DA2 import, doesn't really do regret; she considers it a waste of time. She does sort of wish she'd had time to make Vaughan and Howe suffer more before she killed them. She suspects the Dark Ritual is going to come back to bite her in the ass, but she'd make the same decision if she had it to do over again.

Oh, she might possibly regret not trying to convince Zevran to make it a foursome with Isabela and Alistair. As far as the thing with the nugs goes, that's pure slander. There was only one nug, and it wasn't greased.

Not killing Marjolaine. I meant to but I guess I picked the wrong dialogue options and she ended up just walking away.

Besides that I hope the blackstone irregulars have no effect on DA2, because I couldn't finish their last quest due to a bug.

Probably the Dark ritual. Really a lose/lose situation for those of us that romanced Alistair. With every single character (aside from one uber-evil male Warden I had). My city elf told Morrigan no, and died slaying the Archdemon, but I've yet to put her through the DLC, since apparently I can't have her, and then an Orlesian Warden, both. :/

So yeah, as far as my Human Noble, Dalish Elf, and Elf Mage are concerned, it's gonna be the Dark ritual. I just know it.

Letting Alistair kill Loghain. If I had the time to play through again, I would have made Loghain a Grey Warden and let Alistair throw a tantrum and leave, Love Interest or not.

I regret kicking Flemeth's ass in the save I'm gonna use. I don't think she'll be too happy about it.

i don't regret anything
wynne needed to die, flemeth needed to die (even if shes not dead), genitivi had to die, loghain needed to die for at least 4 or 5 times, unfortunetly i had to be happy with only 1 time when i killed him, connor had to die but i love kids and i didn't kill him, Bhelin was a sick bastard so Harrowmount had to be king and my warden was in love with Morrigan so he had to go with her through the Eluvian.

I am not sure letting the Architect live is a good idea

Should not have done the DR but gone for the Redeemer ending (I wanted Loghain's Awakening cameo, darn it!)

Not having a good Drunkistair save, MEH.

There are a few decisions I've made that I regret. Most of them are fairly minor. I now regret having killed Allister since I did it to prevent the rebllion in his name, but I have since looked through the epilogue slides to discover that if you marry Anora there is no rebellion. So that was a waste. I regret not letting Jowain free. I forced him to help me and thus he got sent to the circle. Then there was Ser Cauthrien, I killed her solely to steal her sword for the codex entry. And finally that one guy in Denerim who challenges you to a duel because you are a Grey Warden. I should have just talked him down, but I wanted the exp. Damn you exp, how many more innocents are you going to force em to take in rder to get my fix! x_x

So yeah, probably nothing important, but I still regret these decisions.

Edit: Just reviewed the game files, and I misread before. Alister's rebellion still happens if you exile him and marry Anora, so I don't regret killing him anymore.

Hmm. Nothing much, actually - my main playthrough was very much as I wanted it. I think I might have left ----- Ashes open for tourism, though, that might not have been a good idea.. And I am now not sure if Connor was saved by the blood magic path, or via the circle. If it was the former, it probably was Isolde, so no big harm.

Selling out the Mages' Collective to the Templars.
The Dark Ritual.

And I would say Sigrun's death in Awakening, but I am going to redo Awakening to prevent that.

since we're not playing our Warden there really aren't many, if ANY, that will matter much save flavor.

slept with morrigan? you may hear mention of her in passing or see a look-a-like with a baby suckling her teet.

Alistair king? someone will mention him
Not king? Someone brings up Anora

Killed Conner? Someone comments on Redcliffe having problems again

etc etc.

those of you saying Flemeth holding a grudge or Justice...or whatever else....what are you thinking? You're not playing your Warden....Flemeth and/or Justice won't care what YOUR WARDEN did because you are now PLAYING HAWKE.

Nothing really, although I think some things like letting the Architect go free might have some consequences later on, I certainly don't regret going it. I'm interested to see what happens.

I regret my first Origins save where I played a mage so I had to be Alistair's mistress (I will upload my second save instead where I am his wife). And I regret not killing the architect on my Awakening playthrough.

As I said before, I have a "perfect" file ready for import... but my biggest regret across all playthroughs? That would be choosing "City Elf" for my first character. It wasn't fun at all dealing with all the bs and insults the humans kept spouting. After Anora told me she couldn't possibly marry me because I was an Elf, I was more than happy to face the Archdemon. That's the only time I ever did the US, and I've never played anything but humans after that...

That's really tragic.
