I have NWN2 Gold. The install disc is giving me problems, dont know if its Win7 or not but this is the message it gives me at the install shield.


Setup could not find a valid installation of Neverwinter Nights 2. Please first install Neverwinter Nights 2 and then run Setup again. Setup will now exit.


Anyone come across this yet for Win7

It sounds like you may have had a failure during installation, I would recommend removing and installing NWN 2 again following the instructions per:

Ive never installed this game before first time.

This game was given to me for free, apparently they never liked it. I just want to confirm what disc's belonged to the Gold packege. I have MoTB but it also came with Storm of Zehir. Would the NWN 2 main install be doubled up with one these's disc's. I'm puzzled as to how this person got all this mixed up.

I've got Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold package right here:
Disc 1 is labeled "Neverwinter Nights 2"
Disc 2 is "Neverwinter Nights 2 Mask of the Betrayer"

Ya i figured out she gave me Storm of Zahir so now im missing the main disc, bummer.
