First here are my sytem specs:
i7 Q720 processor
6GB DDR memory
ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5870
NVIDIA PhysX
Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium Edition
All graphics drivers updated


The game runs fine until the character customization screen and then freezes and crashes when the Loading message comes up. I've tried it DX9 and that doesn't seem to be the issue. I see there are alot of freezing issues but has anyone else had it freeze after the initial fight scene? Now to add insult to injury after my last freeze it took some files with it and now I have to reinstall the whole demo.

I run DA, ME2 and tons of other games without any issues on max settings so if anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

You have either Gamer OSD or SmartDoctor from Asus installed?  Kaspersky AV?  Xfire?  What kind of Pagefile Management are you maintaining?  Anything over a GB for Vista / Win 7 is problematic, and for XP, the number was 300 MBs.

Try turning off v-sync.
