Well, maybe just check this first and confirm your PC meets it:

      Minimum:
OS: Windows XP 32-bit with SP3
OS: Windows Vista 32-bit with SP2
      OS: Windows 7 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (or equivalent) running at 1.8 GHz or greater
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 (or equivalent) running at 1.8 GHz or greater
RAM: 1 GB (1.5 GB Vista and Windows 7)
Video: Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB (should be 2600 XT or X1800 GTO)
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS 256 MB cards (unless this should be 7800 GS)
Disc Drive: DVD ROM drive required
      Hard Drive: 7 GB
Sound: Direct X 9.0c Compatible Sound Card Windows Experience Index: 4.5

If it does, then complete a standard Problem Report, please. Choose from Pacifien's, or Priestly's. One is atop each of the two Mass Effect Tech forums. Chris's is shown as if I wrote it in ME-1, but I was quoting Chris Priestly.

Since I am having a similar problem - when you speak of completing a "standard Problem Report" what do you mean. Do you just mean posting on the forum? (Already did that) Sending it to the official support guys? If the latter how does that work - I tried "contact us" and as far as I can tell there was no reporting mechanism for the demo, just DA2?

As always, EA is the only official support site.  These forums are unofficial, exactly as they are described, composed of game players offering advice to other game players.  When anyone arrives here seriously wanting answers from the local residents, the formula is "Information in = information out".  For nothing in, what do you think you get back out?  Right.  Nothing.
