ok i've noticed that the 3 CG videos made only include Morrigan, Sten, Leliana and the Jason Statham sounding male pc. Now this is in no means a rant, or an attempt at trolling, i'm just wondering if anyone knows why? It seems to me like this is the party the devs are pushing on us. I just think it'd be really cool to see some other characters in full CG, not just the "Poster Party" as i've come to call them.
What about the other party members?

Jason Statham + boobs = marketed trailers. I mean, why would they show Wynne and her saggy grandma mams? (Besides some with that kind of fetish) Gotta remember who the targeted audience is.

I agree with Skeetles. It is most profitable to advertise the most marketable aspects of the game. Most players want to see the cool and sexy characters, not the more mundane ones, so you are going to see the prototypical fantasy heroes.

I disagree. It seems clear that Allistar(sp) is supposed to be one of the main characters yet he wasn't in that video. I believe the devs have even said that Morrigan and Allistar are both important to the game. I'd consider those two as being "forced" on us if anything.

Yes Jason Statham = Win and yes i agree its more profitable to advertise the "cool" character's, but i just think equal rights should be in effect(wow i sound like a political activist) i mean i certainly consider Allistair to be "cool" and the War dog too..i mean who doesnt love a dog..

As for Sten, I noticed that his cinematic appearance is younger and less bulkier than his in game model.

Bioware tends to have an "official" group in games, for what it's worth. I wonder what character the game was done in mind for. I'm thinking Human Noble Warrior.

The characters were not inspired by models, the faces in the sacred ashed trailer was based on models.

Sten's cinematic appearance is just cooler. Too bad he doesn't look like that in the game.
