Thank you for contacting us and I'm sorry for any delay in our response.Dragon
Age II is currently scheduled to release on March 8th 2011. While it's
possible that the keys will be made available for 10 AM we cannot
guarantee this. Key availability is dependant on the publisher EA.Once Direct2Drive has recieved keys they should be made available to customers. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Usually, with steam and d2d, games are available at 1000 CST

 So im very solid MST (Calgary,AB) and its telling me my unlock time is 2am on the 8th. (i figured at the very latest it may be 1am if based off PST)

Pretty much the same response I had (and shared one page back) - though with the difference that they instead said they may give out the keys *before* 10am. - We'll see how it works out.

(Some of the people around here may know me to laude D2D for their service against their judgement. If you're one of those, please feel yourself vindicated. I is angree! *shakes fist!*)

Has the preload just become available for you 20 mins ago or has it been available for some time?

'Cause the support guys from EA Store keep telling me that their servers are under heavy load and I just need to wait a little more.

Hrm. I think you may be confused as to what GMT time is.  0000 GMT would actually be 1900 EST on the day before.

I think an intern simply screwed up setting the times on the securom server myself.

The point that many people are making in this thread is that despite Chris saying it unlocks at midnight, running the Release Date Checker says otherwise.

Hopefully, on monday, a Bioware poster will clarify why that is.

yes please bioware. Unlocking at 5pm for a preload customer is infuriating  and insulting. I hope its an overlook.

I am Australian it is currently 1:15 AM on a Monday so this game will be out for me tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:00AM so technically Wednesday but you get what I mean I hope.

Can someone just verify this with me I just want to make sure lol.

Something I don't quite understand. Does the pre-load times and releasedates work on all digital distributers or is it just chosen ones?

For example, I've pre-ordered from www.gamersgate.co.uk. Under dragon age 2 it sais "release date 11th march". It does say that I will be able to pre-load "x-hours before release date". But thats it....

I tried to email them but no response so far. As I live in Sweden, the game will be released here on the 10th so I don't wanna miss that cause of some digital shops own rules so how does this work?

Any tips/hints appriciated since I'm thinking of canceling my pre-order and get it elsewhere...
