I purchased the game on Steam and I was able to pre-load it on Sunday (5th) - at least that's when I actually saw I could do that. Since I am living in Eastern Europe (and my Steam account is aware of that), this does not fit the announced dates at all. I guess I can only wait to see when my game will be really unlocked...

Better be. I bought the digital version from EA store purely beause of

1)Unlocking is based on the official game release date for the region you
live in. The PC versions, both digital and retail, will unlock beginning
at the following times:
Asia/Pacific region – 0000h on March 8th[/list]2)"Preload now. Play it first." slogan from the EA Store.

If not, i will take this as an advertising scam and pirate all games from bioware from now on. So much for supporting originals.

I wonder when i get my signature editon bonus downloads, soundtracks, etc, for me, i've downloaded Dragon Age 2 today and it said that unlock time is 8th march 11 am. So does someone know that will EA send signature version redeem code and can we also download sountracks and other goodies by tomorrow too?

you walked into the shop and the sales person assured you that the game will be playable on the 0000Hrs.

you paid for it and happily returned home.

But on the actual day, the game don't work at all.

Do you

a) feel cheated and boycott that unethicall shop.
b)continue to patronize the shop like an idiot.

Just because its a digital purchase doesn't mean they can get away with it like it never happened

WTF!! EA Store India says release date 11th March... Damn!! This is all confusing Bioware.. Why the hell you have different release date for different region? Feels like 10th century.. :|

Dear God... same here too. March 11, 2011, 10:02. I certainly hope that's not true, EAstore page said release date is 8th of March. That's why I brought it at first place. I even took a day of on Wed to play the game, if they pushed it back to 11th, I will be really really pissed.

Btw, I seriously don't get why publishers / developers wonder why games are pirated...
When the US gets the game 2 days before WE, despite the fact that we pay the same, I really get pirates. I know the reason for the delays, but I dont quite understand the reasoning behind it.
