Do you mean when the game will be released in Israel at retail? or when the Israeli servers will unlock.
Based on Chris P.'s post on the first page, I'll guess that the unlock time in Israel would be 00.00 on March 8, that is 1 second over midnight. And that's assuming that Israel is located in the Asia/Pacific region, not the Eastern or Western Europe region.

And why in the world? would anyone choose the unlock times based off the Alaska time period? I mean, nothing wrong with Alaska - but it would more sense to base the unlock times off the time in San Francisco PST than Alaskan time.

I completely agree - and doesn't mean we won't try - but it is unlikely (anytime soon).  These are still dictated by brick & mortar retail, and we're obligated to follow 'local' release dates as we can't be seen to either give ourselves or any other individual retailer (e.g. a digital retailer) a distinct competitive advantage over another retailer (e.g. a local brick & mortar shop).  It is physical goods rules trying to be applied to a digital age, and that's why it falls apart, but there you go.

For companies to do a world wide release they have to pay extra to all retailers for put a game on release when it doesn't follow Tuesday/Friday thing thats why companies don't do it because its paying for money that really adds no benefit but adds a lot more expense.

where do u guys find this magical unlock time checker? how to access that? is it some feature in steam?

Nah, mine is EA downloaded version, when I try to run the game, it will launch a Release date checker program, which taunt you with a release time that has been changed from 29 hours later to 3 days later, then 2 hours later again..etc. But since Steam is using it's own DRM, so I guess you won't see this counter.

1.5 hours to midnight and the release control correctly shows 00:00 March 8 as the unlock time....So, can't wait.

Yep it looks like its been adjusted to PST. Woot sort of I am stull gonna crash and then just play the hell out of the game tomorrow.
