You guys do know that it's late Monday night/Tuesday morning here in Thailand. I know the time and day here, and it's pretty much a day ahead of North America. That said, I'm beginning to think I'll get this early tomorrow afternoon (midnight PST). Anyhow, I'm going to bed.

Yes... if you have steam. YES.. steam keeps the game encrypted till it unlocks at 0000 Monday night / early tues morning

You seem to have a hard time grasping this, but it is indeed Tuesday morning in Singapore already.

I am from Turkey and i got my preload in 4th no unlock though. Guess we are considered Asian now.

I can barely understand that there are different dates for preloading the game, but I can’t figure out why people on other continents should wait to unlock their game, if they’ve already downloaded it.

-eh- Turkey is not part of EU. In this case, Turkey is considered part of Asia/Pacific region.
And in UK & Ireland the game will unlock at 00.01 the night between thurday(the 10th) and friday (11th), while in Denmark, Norway, Sweden etc. the game will unlock in the night between wednesday (9th) and thursday (10th).

Unless of course, it is based off the PST time zone....then it ill be about 8 AM in the morning..

I went to EA site and clicked register thing and it doesn't require the serial number for it. You do know I am talking about the registration key not the preorder bonuses right.

Um, Turkey Technically isn't Europe, but Idk why they would add them to Asians. Heh. Still you guys should be happy to be getting it early!

Turkey is Southern European according to UN. Don't know why though.  I got my ME2 with European release.

OMG Turkey is NO WHERE NEAR the asia/pacific area. Look on a map. It's in southern EU and next to GREECE ANd North East of the Middle East So I would gues bioware either threw Turkey in with the EU or the RU timeline.

Well I'll be waiting until 12 Midnight When it is officialy tues to begin looking ftor the unlock code. if it is based on PST Ill be dissapointed but playing Awakening until the unlock at 2am so it isn't that bad.

I completely agree - and doesn't mean we won't try - but it is unlikely (anytime soon).  These are still dictated by brick & mortar retail, and we're obligated to follow 'local' release dates as we can't be seen to either give ourselves or any other individual retailer (e.g. a digital retailer) a distinct competitive advantage over another retailer (e.g. a local brick & mortar shop).  It is physical goods rules trying to be applied to a digital age, and that's why it falls apart, but there you go.
