So.. I live in Canada, and when I launch the game via EADM and the release date check comes up, it says it will be unlocked at 2:00. I'm assuming that's 2:00AM (not midnight?) I've heard both from a few people, "it unlocks whenever it is midnight wherever you live" or "the time the Release Check states". Can someone clarify which one of these is correct?

The times mentioned in the first post are 'local' times, but there is typically only 1 unlock time per region.  For regions with multiple time zones (e.g. US/Canada), this means depending on where you are, you may end up ahead/behind the time posted.  Using the US as an example - the unlock time posted is based on PST.  

Also, when it says 0000h of whatever day, that means the start of that day (think midnight +1second).

Ok how is this for WEIRD... I'm sitting here on the forums.. my EADM is up.. I live in Charlotte, NC, USA... the game has been locked for days. Then the greyed out button just switched to an orange play button.

my.. my.. my.. it looks like EA and BW have really done it up this time hehehe. Well I can't complain.

I have been able to do that since I had the game downloaded. You won't get much farther than the play button because of the release date checker.

You can't register the game yet. It blocks it from going much further after entering in the key. 

u can go through EA and do it vs bioware.. they are all linked

can you please verify? after obtain order an billng e-mail ea sent download e-mail in 7/3/11 at 2pm GMT
with that e-mail ı will unlock game and play. also till download e-mail is it okay game doesn't show up my eadm

No they are not unlockable in Beta. They will be unlockable when the game goes to release which is after open beta.

I preordered on EA-Store, digital edition, in february.  I was able to preload on 4  march and was really hoping to start playing tomorrow. That is why I bought digital edition.

Yep, tried an asia VPN with Steam, no unlock.. Steam always screws up game launches..

That's what I did with the EADM, used a Japan VPN where's it's about 2:15am on Tuesday morning there. The game would open but not play till i used to the VPN. Now I am able to play it
