I'm in Charlotte, NC using the EADM. I just changed my computer timezone to china and used a vpn to china.. but you HAVE to keep the vpn if you exit the game or the activation check will fail again

Tried it, didn't work. I'm not using Steam or EADM. I keep getting an error message saying could not use release date checker, or something like that.

Yup - DX11 issues originate from the driver. For Nvidia users, you need to download the beta drivers appropriate for your card, as an official version of the driver hasn't been released yet.

So I canceled my Steam preorder, bought it on EADM and tried the China VPN.. no unlock.
I wonder if I should have selected China in my EA account?
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait until the 10th.. and hope Steam does indeed cancel my preorder
