Kind of wondering why they did midnight releases all over the US if they were going to do this release date lock thing on the disc.

Kind of makes it pointless for those not in the same timezone as Bioware, no?

I mean if I can pick up the game at midnight but not play until 3 a.m., it seems like it would have been just as easy for the stores here to open early at like 6 a.m. then we all could have slept, gotten up early and played without this waiting period between buying and being able to play.....

Oh well, it is what it is. Still excited to play just a bit frustrated at all of these extra security precautions that make it hard for people who obtain the game honeslty to play it *lol*

In the future I kindly ask if you would give us a heads up. I don't mean make a forum sticky. Perhaps tell the retailer that the product they are selling at a midnight launch cannot be played at midnight. I am sure most people would have been fine simply waiting until the morning to go pick up the game. Now I am up in the middle of the night with a game that I can't play. Being dog tired at work tomorrow would have been totally worth it if I had gotten to play. I buy games, don't punish me for it.
