This sucks, my games typically arrive a day early (in the uk) by which time that game is already out in America. Meaning I have till wait till midnight to download my SE stuff.

I ordered on Steam too, but frankly I'm not really that "upset" about not being able to pre-load from the first possible moment ... it is after all just a pre-load.

When you ordered it you got no e-mail comfirming that?  If so, then yeah.  Check your bank account and see if anything went through, and your order history.  If it totally doesn't show up on order history it maybe of not even went through.  But yeah, I'd contact EA.

It's the principle of the thing.  If you say it's going to be 18:00 GMT, make it at 18:00 GMT.

I got email confirming my order on jan but I cannot find any in my order history. Another thing is that EA haven't charge my credit card yet.

Excellent, pre-ordered DA2 from them as I initially brought the original game from D2D with the pre-load option, when I emailed them about the preload possibility after the SE announcement they didn’t know, glad to see it has been given the nod again.

Regarding steam, as long as it pre-downloads at some point, and unlocks at midnight, I'm happy. If not, then, well, it's probably better off as I have a lot to due Tuesday morning/afternoon >_<.

This is ridiculous. I'm getting nothing from D2D but my card shows a charge on jan 10 to D2D yet nothing about the game purchased in accounts. Last time I ordered the PC version from BN in a box and it got screwed up so I bought digital, this time I buy digital and things are screwy... Well better now that Tuesday I guess.

No e-mail about preload, nothing in EADM. What's wrong?

Ariella: your game should show up in 'My Account' 'Games' when you ordered it. That's what mine did & I'm now able to download the game & the manual but not the bonuses. Looks like you may need to contact them.

I ordered my DA2SE through impulsedriven.com and just got an email containing my serial key. I registered it through the EADM software and am currently pre-loading it.

Now I'm wondering if the SE is supposed to show up on my list of games, because right now it just shows regular DA2. I hope it's not something I need to call and ask to get fixed.

Its attached through the serial number just like the collectors edition of DAO or Mass Effect 2.

Just finished pre-loading from Impulse. Now, I'm the sort of person that tries to start something, even if I know it's not supposed to work, and it didn't. But what I'm hoping is that they haven't plugged the correct times into their release server yet, otherwise I'm worried. I'm in the US, but I got this message back:

Your release date will be: Sunday, March 13, 2011, 18:03

They have a few days to fix it, so I'm not too worried yet.

Same thing here. I've just had a chat with EA support and they said I will be able to download the game on a release date. They have not charged my card yet, too. It is strange that the publisher does not allow us to download the game while other retailers do((

Having been hit myself by the general feeling of paranoia surrounding SE orders, I just double-checked my order from the EA Store (Western Europe). I had received a confirmation email and my order showed up in my order history as "order unsubmitted" but there was no sign of it on EADM. Support just confirmed my order was fine but said they had no information on pre-load dates. I hope this puts some other people's minds at ease, at least on the validity of the EA Store SE preorders mechanics.
