What makes me sadpanda is the fact that EA doesn't see the need to stack up their amount of activation server capability, so we can have a worldwide launch at the same day .... hell, 2 more days, and the encrypted game data are keep smiling down at me from my Steam folder for almost a week now. Q_Q

Well then call me shameless, but I am using a  "crack" to play atm. it bypases the stupid regionlock ****. Though I will wait for the game to be officially released in my country before i log in with my ea account.

im from the uk, so even if ive already bought it and pre loaded it with STEAM i cant even play it for a few days while others can? just cause im from uk?

Thanks guys, I installed the Comrade application last night. It worked fine and all. One problem though, I couldn't find where should I go in the application in order to pre-load the game. Anyone knows?

Yeah. I honestly couldn't care less about having it a couple of days later than the Americans. But eagerly anticipating it being available at an announced date and time, staying up for it, getting yourself psyched - and then finding out that it's probably going to be two more days (but not actually having that confirmed, or explained) - that's what is really frustrating - and I dare say, downright insulting.

A clarification of what happened would be desirable at the bare minimum.

Almost wish I didn't purchase the game. Why did they have to have different release dates for different locations? Bad move....bad bad move....

My game has been unlocked for 5.5 hrs now and fully playable but I have not gotten the pre-order unlock codes for the signature edition items. Would be nice to have everything I paid for now that it's up and running. I'm in the U.S. playing the PC download version so I am refreshing my email while other people already have theirs. Zzz.

It's even more frustrating, because had i pre-ordered it from Amazon and paid a fraction more to get it shipped quickly i'd probably have been playing tomorrow morning. Instead i opted for the "convenience" of Steam and not having to worry about discs and such as well as expecting a reliable launch synch up only to find this out.

Yet again, Australians being treated as second rate by huge companies. Makes me wonder why i bother continuing with my gaming hobby these days.

Welll technically Fernando explained it. It basically has to do with physical retailers setting the release dates, which means they want to sell simultaniously as the digital ones. If that wasnt the case they would loose income. well I am sorry but physical copies are outdated get over it and go digital!

Originally i wanted to buy the retail version.. but the stores here telling me that they will bring it after 24th (ffs)..

The DRM tells me I will be able to play on the 10th of March 00.00. Im in Sweden (western europe) so that seems alright with me!

Hope it will keep that date though!

Well, I'm not going to wait up until midnight for the second day in a row, just on the hopes that Steam decides to honor Bioware's promise to the Asia region. Looks like 00:00 on March 8th will actually translate to 01:00 on March 10th.

Well I bought from the EA store, so the game is pre downloaded in my EADM. If i would start it from the original exe i get the releaseday client check thingy. Which will state mine will unlock at march 10th 00:00.
Yesterday I found a couple of unlockers, most of which were fake virus infested cest pools. This morning however someone had posted a real working crack based on the currently unlocked games. 

I downloaded it after I used several VPN's to try and get it unlocked without results. Figured you could always try right. and technically the cracks alone are not illegal to use. As long as you do not distribute with the intend of making money. and one by law can have a backup of every software, music and movies they own. (the reason why you pay a small tax on empty cd\\s, dvds and blu ray discs.

Well I changed my original exe into dragonage2old.exe and copied the cracked one into Bin_ship were the original is also located and booted it up without using the launcher. Tada it works
