wow just wow what the hell is wrong with bioware by using this move im here in puerto rico and cant play the game until almost 4 pm here. very bad move by bioware by using this method. very dissapointed.

I am extremely disappointed by how unorganized this launch is, post #1 states Asia/Pacific release is on 0000h March 8th. Retail released right on time, and steam decided to kick the date to March 10th instead without any notification.

March 11th, 2011 at 12:01AM GMT

So friday afternoon for me in the CET zone.

I don't think it's biowares fault - Chris has said in previous posts that his hands are tied because of the way the system works - basically if a game is released digitally before brick n motar stores have a fait chance of getting units shipped in and ready to sell, that's considered unfair and aswel as competition laws, brick and motar outlets might well refuse to sell the game to punish the publisher

The crack does not prevent you from signing in to the servers. However I advise against it, since well its still a crack. You never know what is hidden among it that virus scanners cannot catch. 

That and I do not know how EA or Bioware will act. I do not know if they can see if your using a crack or not etc.


Edit : To clarify, I am not going to post any links regarding this crack.

I also tried EADM, going at 13kb/sec, by the time the download is done, it will already be March 11th, I guess they aren't letting me touch this game until the 11th either way. LOL

You can ask but they won't cancel pre-orders 48 hours after you put the pre-order in. I actually tried last week.

They wouldt accept this as a reason for a refund, and quite rightly they shouldn't, they have done nothing wrong, they have kept to there advertising times, just because it comes out in north america sooner is no reason people in other countrys should get there money back.

and there u are wrong cause on the pre prucase page u get told that u are able to play on the 8th. so they dont keep there promisses and they dont say anything about diffents days in diffrent locations! they did that on a forum witch they cant expect people to go search for before buying,

Why? Almost all games comes out at different dates in different regions, that is just how things is. So why blame Bioware and EA when this is not something new.

yes but you din't spect that they change the unlock time 1 day before the release it is lying and lying to the customers is not good

Now Steam seems to be telling me it'll unlock on the 10th at 10am. I tried downloading the EA Download Manager version just on the off chance that Steam was being stupid, but it says it won't unlock until the 10th at 1am, which you'll note is not even remotely the same time as the 9th at 0000.

You can imagine how delighted I am to hear about the game and how it is from people who are playing the pirated version while I, who paid for it, am unable to play.

I have a question regarding the OP:

Isn't Germany part of the Western Europe region? The time table states 0000h GMT 10th March as unlock date, but a support guy said during a chat that the game is released 11th March in Germany. So what's the correct release date in Germany. I'd hate staying up late, just to find out that the game unlocks a day later.
