My Signature Edition from Impulse is pre-loading now.... is it only 5 gigs for everyone else? Seems small.

Ok, I'm in Canada and I bought the game via Impulse. The unlock/decrypt tool says my game will be unlockable on the 10th even though OP says it should be available on the 8th for me.

What's up with that?

Thats what I got at first too.  When I explained to the guy about how I just wanted to make sure I could pre-load it and talked him through how that worked...he just said nothing was wrong.  Pretty frustrating as I've had a purchase made this morning process through yet the one I made for DA2 almost 48 hours ago is still pending.

Hmm. A talk with EA Customer support person revealed that "release date for Europe is 11th", and no comments on info in this thread was given, no info on pre-load either. Not even my card was charged.
Someone probably messed up in there.

Im trying to PRE ORDER from DIrect2Drive and they dont let me because my Postal Code is not valid thats crazy
Did anyone ever had this problem with them before?
BTW im from Canada

Yeah I am not a big fan of customer support sometimes.  They seem totally oblivious to the real world and what is the question being asked.  I can only hope that my order is "fine" and that it will eventually go through (preferably this weekend).  But like you said, it is odd that an order placed 48 hours ago is still pending.  It's definitely not a bank problem on my end.  I very rarely have problems with EA...only when I pre-order tho. :/

Also, it's rather weird considering after 3 days most banks cancel pending holds and they expire.  Thus cancelling the transaction.  Guess I will see tommorow.

I think most of the problem preloads are Siggy Eds. That seems to be the case from my count at least.

Having problems with my Sig Edition as well. Not sure if the game is supposed to show up as simply "Dragon Age II" in the menu. On top of that, I can't pre-load even though I got an e-mail saying I'm now able to. Oh EA

Well looks like EA has a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing or is it vice versa? Got my email just a few minutes ago and it's not letting me DL either. They are either trying to control the amount of downloads by doing this or someone is just asleep on the job here. All I know is that this will be 'fixed' soon or their poor tech support team is going to get flooded by hate mail from all us fanboys/girls lol

I'd say that you're probably correct and that it is a Sig Ed problem and they don't know how to handle it.  And this CS rep actually told me how to refresh my xbox 360, duh, she didn't even look that I already said it was a PC edition.

can anyone else comment on this if u got a sig edition? i got a sig edition, and it isnt working

I have the SigEd from EADM and it doesn't work. I have also tried restarting/refreshing, still nothing. Not to worried about it, several days to fix the issue.

Yea well having to hit refresh for nearly 30 minutes shouldn't need to be done. This sounds more like a control mech of EA's to regulate how many people download as to not crash their servers or something. Either way they shouldn't have sent out emails if that was the case. I'm surprised the support forums aren't getting flooded with complaints.

Ok, I was game and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the EADM and no deal. It still is not working.

Best thing i ever did since i didnt have any special Edition.

Canceled Pre order with EA Store and Pre ordered with Direct2Drive and even didnt have to pay TAX so thanks a lot to that

I'm just going to try DL'ing this later today maybe around midnight even. This will give EA a chance to figure this mess out and if not they'll be getting an email from me for sure about this cluster-f...well you get the idea.
