Still 7 long hours for me. By the way, my key for DA2 was not accepted when I tried to register the game to BSN yesterday. So is it a glitch or because the game is not unlocked here?

Edit: pre-ordered from Steam, didn't get the key e-mail. Still it was there in CD-Key Tab in my Library.

Well Steam countdown has dissappeared but I can't play this game.
What the heck is going on?
I am really getting fed up with companies who use tiered release dates on digital downloads. There is absolutely no need for them. They are all last century. Wake up and join the new millenium.

Gotta say that this release has had major issues. I'm not really surprised when EA is involved I mean just look at other games they've published (Hello Medal of Honor).

Cant really decide whats worse in this scenario tho. Is it :

1. The fact that Americans and Pirates can play the game before the rest of the world?
2. The fact that my digital distributor said 8th March on their site even 20 hours AFTER the release date.
3. The fact that. I've yet to see a Mod or Dev here. Getting the same feeling I got with another mmorpg gaming company.... AHEM...
4. Game have just been released (Oh wait, for Europeans it havent been released yet, my bad) and from what I can tell, theres DLC sold?

I have just one question: why did my copy arrive today whereas i can't play until tomorrow? I mean this is just ridiculous. Thanks to those who had this great idea ( guess it was somebody from EA, at least i hope so).

Steam has removed the "This game will unlock in "x" days" counter. Shame I still can't actually play the game that I had to pay an extra $10 for.

Ok, now I have a question that's been bugging me...so it will release at " Friday, March 11, 2011, 00:00" per the ****ty DRM checker...but whose time zone is that? Because if that is the time zone for Edmonton (?) wouldn't that actually be Saturday here in NZ?

Edmonton is I think gtm -7 or utc -7 (which is the same) so it would be around 7 am in germany when it's unlock. what does NZ mean?

Hi raimn, NZ is New Zealand.

well, New Zealand is utc +12 ( or 13 summer/winter?) so the differenz to edmonton is 20 hours. so you are right it will be nearly saturday in NZ

VPN unlock method, mini tutorial:

1. Download this app: http://www.flyvpn.com/download.php
2. Install and login using data from this page: http://www.flyvpn.com/freetrial.php (Use Asia ones)
3. Connect to Taiwan server (TW Shared 01)
4. Open DragonAge2.exe and unlock the game

I believe it is midnight GMT, meaning in about 6 hours.

Sorry if this question has been asked before, didn't want to read through almost 100 pages to find it. I'm in Europe and preloaded the game. I ordered the SE from EA Store and have a confirmation email saying SE, but the game I was allowed to download only says Dragon Age 2, not Dragon Age 2 SE in both the EADM and the game icon. Is this normal?

Just a heads up - looks like the D2D UK signature edition is getting unlocked on 10th March at 00:00 hours (I guess local time). At least that's what the checker tells me, although I'm in the eastern Europe. Happy, happy, joy, joy.
