I would imagine it'll depend on how well the early DLC sells, so they can gauge how many people are still interested in the game.

An expansion... Eh... Awakening was short, and not really worht its 40 dollar price imo. Golems of Amgarrak was... Um.. Ok?, Leliana's song was lame imo, and Witch hunt was.. Well.. Witch Hunt..
Judging by this trend, I don't think an expansion bodes well for DA2 imo...

it said at the end that isabela was the only one who stayed with the champion after everyone else went their seperate ways, so maybe they'll do what they did with ohgren in awakening but with isabela yeah?

aaa and on the lasts sentence you made a mistake
i read somewhere that if the make an expansion/dlc for Dragon age 2 that the will improve the quality of it because the got 2 many complaints from gamers that the where bad .
i seriously hope the make an expansion cos i think dragon age 2 is way to short.
also the story isnt as replayeble as the first 2 dragon age's .
non the less i started for the 3de time just to play all classes
so yeh imo the need to hurry up and give me some new material .

It makes no sense to fill in time gaps with DLC/expansions at least to me. Cliffhanger ending and then go on adventures with my high level character that I'm already supposed to have gone on? Not for me. Finish the Champion's story with an expansion or 2-3 good, long DLC's somewhere exotic and far away from Kirkwall. If DA3's main character wants Hawke's help they can send word to Par Vollen/Rivain/wherever for it.

nope. depending on who you romance and subsequently bed first, Varric says that's who stays by your side.

If there is an expansion companions would probably be your love interest plus new ones to join Hawke in whatever he's up to. Judging by my actions, Hawke is probably running to the nearest border since everyone probably wants him dead.

They can only make the game better with an expansion pack, but hopfully not Golems or Witch Hunt type of DLCs, that provide no real answers or no real gameplay.

Bioware's DLC has been VERY hit or miss in the past (especially in Mass Effect), here's to hoping for an expansion pack

Why dont Bioware just Open Source the bloody thing..
I mean, lets face it, you or me cant make the game any worse, heck, we might even fix some of their bugs.
There are members of this community with seriously talented creative skills, and programmer knowledge to go with.
Bioware and EA should be coming to the players, and enlisting their help in at least the Design phase of any future games.
DA2 is a good example of how not to make a game.
I mean, lets face it, you or me cant make the game any worse, heck, we might even fix some of their bugs.

Imho da2 wasn't a great game, and really shouldn'y have any dlc's, unless they are free and fix the plot holes and give an actual ending without soprano-ing it.
